The stay was okay. The room is small, the window cannot be opened, it doesn't smell nice at all and the only thing which helps is turning on the airconditioner. The towels will start to smell very bad just after one time use.

An exceptional stay at Perhentian Mama’s! The welcome is warm with impeccable service. The rooms are spotless and well-maintained. If you are looking for good coffee, they have the best of the village. Additionally, the proximity to a mosque is a great positive for Muslim travelers. Everything is clean and there’s nothing to complain about. Special thanks to Nadia and Hakimi and all the villagers for their remarkable hospitality, we really felt at home. Boat transportation operated by Hakimi is efficient and punctual. Also best roti kosong by Yusuf near Bay chalet Highly recommended! ---

“The staff were so friendly, we visited each evening for waffles and the son so so accommodating with his boat taxi.”
Location and staff were so helpful and became our boat taxi driver for the few days. Cafe downstairs’ was fab.

“The sweetest host with the nicest cosy hotel.”
The property was very close to the beach (literally seafront) and very clean. It is probably one of the best stay in Fisherman Village. Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed especially regarding the price. Nadia and her husband were very friendly and helpful. They were available at any time whether it was to book a taxi boat 5 minutes before or to help us with our room. They even allowed us to check in two hours before the normal time which they did not have to do at all.
