The staff were great, and tried to be flexible.

This was a lovely place to stay with friendly staff and a great restaurant. The hosts went out of their way to be helpful and served us a meal even though we got there late. So well situated for the museums. A fascinating visit especially for anyone interested in the rockets.

Breakfast was good with a good pot of coffee. Evening meal was very good with a good atmosphere. The room was ok. Great location, only 5 minute walk to the V1 & 2 museum.

Food, both supper and breakfast, was very good. As there was vegetarian choice on the supper menu the chef happily prepared the omelette I asked for. Lovely room, clean and comfortable.

“An interesting hotel to stay .”

I came to Peenemunde to visit the Historical Museum all about the V1 and V2 rockets , it was literally a 5 minute walk from the hotel and there was a bonus that I never knew about , there's an ex Soviet Navy submarine and small warship in the harbour that you can visit . Again , only minutes away from the hotel . The evening meal was excellent as was the breakfast .

Location was close to all sights.

“Ticked our boxes....”

Ticked our boxes....we wanted easy access to the WW2 history of Peenemunde and the main museum was a 10 minute walk away (passing a Russian U-Boat on the way) so we could not have asked for more. Rooms were basic but spacious and comfortable.

It was clean, a lot of place for cars. It's for free. Quiet place outside, very friendly stuff.

“Nice and easy stay at “Onion’s””

We’ve arrived quite late but check-in directions via phone were accurate. Rooms were simply equiped but with everything you need. Everything was clean, very comfortable beds in our opinion. Tasty breakfast with sufficient choice and friendly personnel.

We really liked the buffet selection at breakfast. There was juice, tea, coffee as well as hot and cold breakfast items. Each table had a large pot of coffee and fresh butter and the breakfast room was clean, large, airy and spacious.

I stayed here in the off season (January), town & hotel was very quiet. Staff very friendly & helpful (got me a kettle for room) & also at breakfast. Room was huge, spotless, comfortable, well equipped & quiet, breakfast was tasty, filling with hot & cold options. Hotel couldn't have been more central, 5 minutes to station & museum, a couple of minutes to harbour & village store. If I came back here, this would be my go-to accommodation.

Location perfect, warm welcome, took care of bicycle, room well appointed, food, both supper and breakfast, excellent value, staff friendly and efficient.
