“Lovely hosts, great bed, amazing brekfast”
Tiziana and Maurizio are lovely hosts, we had a great time. They are real genuine good people! They also have a social project, supporting single mothers, which we found very touching. We had some nice chats and they gave super recommendations on what to do on our last day in Cabo Verde. Maurizio prepared breakfast for us personally, which was the best we had in CV! Even the cakes he bakes himself! We just stayed for one night, before our flight home the next evening. They even offered leaving our bags behind as the room wasn't booked for the next night. We could go back to have a rest and a shower before our night flight, which was a huge help and very thoughtful, as my partner got sick on our last days and needed an extra siesta before the travel. I did not manage to say good-bye properly, so here is a huge: GRAZIE! I wish you all the best and good luck with your new business!

“Interesting stay”
We were impressed that Tiziana and Maurizio are running Casa da Amizade as a social project ( via tourism) with the goal of reducing poverty in Cabo Verde. If you align with this attitude, then your stay will have a direct benefit on the local economy. Tiziana and Maurizio were very welcoming. Casa da Amizade is in a quiet location on the edge of town ( +- 500m from the market and "hiace" transport) and has a communal terrace. Internet and hot water worked fine and the bed was comfortable. At time of writing a taxi to the airport with ( driver João ) cost approx €30
