“Great apartment, but disappointing intermittent WiFi”

The location of this apartment is fantastic! It's on a quiet street right off one of the main streets leading to a large piazza. There are bars, restaurants, and shops within a 5-minute walk. It's easy to get to the major sites -- the various churches, the Duomo, the Ponte Coperto, as well as the University buildings. The apartment is located in a quiet building of what appears to be local residents (as opposed to other vacation rentals) and the building is very secure with a locked door to the street that enters into the courtyard and then another locked door to the stairwell that leads up to the apartment, and finally a locked apartment door. The bed and linens were comfortable and the windows had screens, which kept the flies out while the windows were open. (It's rare to find screens on windows in Italy, so this was a bonus!) The small kitchenette was stocked with coffee maker and some basic supplies -- sufficient for a short stay. The bathroom was modern and the shower had great water pressure, plenty of hot water, and didn't leak; there was also a washing machine which is very helpful when traveling for a long period of time. The host was helpful and responsive with a small issue we had when checking in.

Good location, functioning facilities, and everything is satisfactory. I stayed at the end of January. Thanks to the functioning heater, the room temperature is warm and comfortable.

The accommodation is large for a couple. It is within easy walking distance of all the main sites as well as the bus and train stations. The shower is good, the bed comfortable, and the room overlooks a courtyard and is quiet. The main feature of the accommodation is to be able to see the top of the Duomo from the bedroom. Niels is generous with the coffee pods (we did not use anything else).

Lovely cosy apartment in the heart of Pavia. , close to anything you need. Appartment was very clean and had anything you may need. Very good communication with the owner.
