Overview
Located in the historic district in Pau, this 3-star Hôtel Continental Pau Centre displays artworks, sculptures and antique furniture. I checked-in and was assured that the points for my stay related to my membership of GW's loyalty programme would be automatically transferred, as usual, to my Air Canada Aeroplan account. They weren't. I didn't ask for a printed bill at check-out for environmental reasons. I have twice contacted the hotel by email to send me a pdf receipt in order to claim the miles with AC. I have received no reply to these requests and will be unable to claim missing miles with Aeroplan. Be warned !

“Having a 24hr reception at Best Western was very welcome the hotel comfortable and well located”
Room good, location and breakfast very good. My friend and I had been travelling by car from England and found it very difficult to find any accommodation with 2 available rooms. We arrived at the Best Western after 1am but were greeted by reception and to our relief offered accommodation!

“Great location for a comfortable, good value hotel.”
This is a reasonably priced, yet comfortable hotel in the centre of the old town. Bars and restaurants are a very short walk away. The room was large and the bathroom was also a good size. Everything was spotlessly clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful, providing a maps, advice and USB plug on request. The continental breakfast was tasty with of variation to suit all taste. Parking is available in an underground garage and is free.

It was a stopover hotel for us enroute back to Santander . We arrived late after struggling to find the carpark so parked in public carpark . We did not make full use of the facilities or explore nearby but the staff were very friendly. The breakfast was very good and the staff very attentive .

Reception staff were very friendly and advised us of where to walk dog with benefits of shade. Very hot. Always nice to have bath as well as shower. Aircon was welcome.

Good breakfast, excellent location, easy to find (with Google maps) free parking. Very close to parks and shops, but don't arrive Sunday! Helpful staff.
