Nestled in the heart of Pau, a 10-minute walk from the train station, Hôtel Adour is the perfect place for a restful stopover or a family stay in Pau. The guest rooms are all individually decorated and feature a private bathroom. All rooms are soundproofed, double-glazed and fitted with a flat-screen TV, a direct phone line and free Wi-Fi access. Guests also have access to a computer with internet access and a printer, located in the public areas of the hotel. Located in a semi-pedestrian street, close to bus and taxi stops, the hotel allows quick access to the Boulevard des Pyrénées, and the city’s castles, museums and restaurants.

“Average hotel in excellent location”
As expected, this is a 2* simple hotel, located in central PAU. The location is perfect and the staff is friendly. There is a bus station nearby that you can use to go anywhere, including the airport (with 1.50 euros). There are also plenty of restaurants and shops nearby.

“Basic, cheap and cheerful.”
Good location right in the middle of town, but it was a bit of a trial driving to the front door to drop off our luggage. The street has motorised bollards to stop cars entering, which we weren't expecting and which we didn't know how to get past. Fortunately, the hotel was just down the street, so my wife was able to run down and get help from reception. Otherwise, a basic cheap and cheerful hotel which served our needs for one night. Parking was available at a discount in a nearby commercial car park. The hotel will give you a ticket which you use to enter the carpark and again to exit. The EUR8.50 charge is paid to the hotel when you check out.

“Nice hotel in a very central location”
Location was excellent although parking was not available. However there staff were very helpful in telling us where we could park (about 7 min walk). Breakfast was continental in style and quite tasty.

Friendly team, good with info. Sorted parking in nearby underground facility; bonus was free EV charging. Quadruple glazing meant quiet nights despite lively street activity. Good location within old town.
