Charming old property in the heart of a very old part of town. Easy walking distance to restaurants. Host was very welcoming in making sure that we had everything we needed.

The property is in the centre of the medieval part of Parthenay, which should not be missed. It felt as if we had been taken back hundreds of years, and the only thing that was missing were knights on horseback riding down the street. Great bar just down the road, wonderful hostess Veronique who provided safe storage of two bikes, ice cold bottle of water on arrival, and a comprehensive but not intrusive demonstration of the property facilities. We felt privileged to have been able the experience of staying her for a night

Fantastic location in the heart of the old town, this is a perfect gîte to be part of the history of Parthenay. The owner is lovely and friendly.

Great location and unique, ancient building. Veronique was very kind and left some nice gifts. Very fast WiFi and well equipped kitchen. Parthenay is an interesting place to visit.

WOW! What a wonderful gite in a beautiful medieval town 😍 Veronique is an exceptional hostess - every consideration for the comfort of her guests. Such a beautiful, quirky place to stay - we will definitely return as 1 night was not enough to appreciate all that was on offer! People in the town are very friendly and despite the slight language barrier, we managed to communicate well with all the lovely people we met. Absolutely loved everything about our 1 night stay. If I could mark it more than exceptional /superp I would without hesitation- it was sublime!

Historic gite, furnished comfortably and sympathetically, on the first and second floors. We were impressed with the thoughtful provision of extras and Veronique was friendly and helpful, meeting us on arrival. Well located in the old town, within walking distance to various eateries.
