I arrived very late due to a delayed transfer and the hostel reception closes at 10pm, so they messaged me all the details on how to enter the building and the location of the notice board with all the information of my stay. I appreciated breakfast was included free of charge and there was many options. I also loved the fact they had 3 cats in the hostel, which added to the cozy vibe. Although 2 of the cats are ill from a viral infection, and have a string of mucus hanging from their mouths. I advised one of the staff members they need to take them to a vet as soon as possible. I really hope they do and don't just hope they will get better.

Breezy hostel with a pretty front and back patio with two cute playful kitties, friendly staff and clean rooms. Breakfast was basic, but included homemade jam (yum!) and the remaining coffee was left on the table throughout the day for guests to drink. Spacious kitchen with drinking water tap (you’ll need some patience though 😅). There’s lockers, but I didn’t feel like it needed them. The neighbourhood was quiet and felt safe.

“Fine for a short stay”

Nice hostel, relatively close to the centro. It's simple but was comfortable, the volunteers and workers were helpful, giving tips and flexible with check-in/out. There is breakfast included, simple as well but it's ok. I could work comfortably, there are desks with chairs if you work online. There are some cute cats.

I liked the outdoor space, our bedroom and the staff were helpful.

We had a wonderful stay here! Inês and Kenny are wonderful Owners who make you feel very welcomed from the first minute and are very helpful in organising trips and tranfers. Breakfast was all you could wish for, with fruits, juice, eggs and fresh bread :) After driving to Barrereinhas with the Hostel crew, Inês called every boatdriver available too make sure someone waited for us to go to Atins :)
