The breakfasts were exceptional… we were fed great quality and quantity. Our host Anneke was knowledgeable and entertaining and ready to help in any possible way. We felt very comfortable and welcomed and after only 3 days felt like we had known each other for much longer. Would definitely give her cooking a 3 star Michelin rating….

Aside from the brilliant hosting, beautiful gardens, and comfortable beds, the outdoor shower (hot + cold) was a lovely experience.

This was a home away from home experience. Anneke is a wonderful hostess, creates a comforting environment and makes a delicious, wholesome breakfast. Very grateful for a restful and restorative time.

Anneke was delightful. She had tea and homemade apple strudel for us when we arrived. She loves getting to know her guests. Cedar Song B&B is in the countryside which didn't bother us at all as the place was quaint and peaceful.

The owner is lovely, very friendly, accommodating, and willing to share local information to help her visitors have the best stay possible. She is a wonderful cook and sets out a beautiful feast for her guests for breakfast each day.

The breakfast was absolutely beautiful and SO good! Anneke was incredible and treated us like family. I would stay there again in a heartbeat and will recommend it to everyone!

Anneke was an amazing host. She was so warm and welcoming and made us feel at home the moment we set foot on her beautiful property. You can tell she puts her heart and soul into everything she does, and it shows! Our room was beautiful ,immaculate, and spacious, and the decor was so lovely. The bed was probably the most comfortable we have ever slept in. The setting in the woods was a perfect way to unwind and forget your day to day worries. We loved seeing her adorable chickens and the wild bunnies. After our day outing, we were always greeted with a warm smile from Anneke and a cup of tea. Her breakfasts were so delicious and kept you fueled for most of the day. The presentation with flowers on the food was such a creative touch! We have stayed in a few bed and breakfasts over the years, but none of the hosts were as personable as her! Anneke is truly in a class of her own. “Feeling home at holidays”

Anneke was an amazing host! She was so welcoming and we felt immediatly at home! The breakfast was just amazing and we think this could be the best bed and breakfast on vancouver island! :)

It was just perfect. Anneke is the most amazing host I’ve experienced. Very lovely place in the woods. Great location for trips around the island. And the breakfast? Omg! That was a perfection.

Our hostess is amazing, so welcoming, friendly, easy to be with and to chat with. The breakfasts that she prepares are wonderful, different each day, and set you up for the day. Anneke has a wealth of knowledge of where and what to visit on Vancouver Island. The peaceful setting, amongst the trees, of her B&B is a balm to the soul.

The location is peaceful and out of the way but only 15 minutes drive to Coombs. The breakfasts we’re excellent!
