“Lovely hotel with friendly staff”
The location was good with many things nearby. it was about a 40 minute walk to the main attractions although there was a metro station 5 mins away. The breakfast was lovely and the staff were friendly

“Perfect small hotel in Bastille area with lots to do and see within walking distance.”
The hotel was stylish and comfortable, with a small but perfect spa, a lovely bar/dining area and a perfect courtyard garden. Our room was spacious and amazingly quiet given it's central location. Great deep bath too - which is a rarity in any hotel. The whole hotel is extremely clean with professional staff and we would definitely stay there again. The location is very close to the Breguet Sabin metro so extremely easy to reach from Gare du Nord on the M5 line.

Very disappointing stay, absolutely not 5-star worthy Calling this a 5-star hotel is honestly a joke. We paid around €450 per night for a very standard room, without breakfast, and there was nothing luxurious about the experience. The room was extremely small and felt more like a basic 3-star hotel room. The bathroom was really nice but thats about it (although no bathtub) On top of that, the full-length mirror was completely unusable, as it was blocked by a piece of furniture placed right in front of it. It felt poorly thought out and not at all in line with a hotel in this this price category. For a hotel charging premium rates, the wellness area was extremely disappointing. The sauna was out of order, and the steam room was also not working. Essentially, none of the facilities were functioning, which is unacceptable at this level. Service was also far below expectations. When we arrived, there was no one to help with our luggage. I have honestly experienced better service at 3-star hotels. On the second day, we left the room in the morning and returned around 14:30, only to find that the room had still not been cleaned. We were then asked to leave so they could clean it, after we had been out all day and just wanted to relax. Every night they did a light evening cleaning, which is expected at this price point, but they didn’t even empty the trash. We also tried the breakfast one morning. The waiter was extremely stressed, rushing around and hurrying us. One of the items we ordered was waffles for €12. After waiting 40 min, what arrived was a cold half a waffle with some syrup, nothing else (see picture) Overall, the staff seemed unhelpful and did very little to improve the situation. We were offered a small compensation: the waffle was removed from the bill, and we received a €30 discount for one night because of the broken steam room. That hardly reflects the level of inconvenience. I would not recommend it.
