The price was low. Even though the hotel is next to a highway, the noise was not noticeable thanks to the good windows.

“Very nice”
Super friendly staff. We had booked 4 rooms and they made sure they were all next to each other. One of the rooms was with disability access and it was very comfortable for my grandmother. The other rooms were small but comfortable. Delicious breakfast as well. Short walk to public transport which takes you into the city quickly.

The accommodation was excellent, way better than a 2 ☆ . The room was basic but very clean and had great facilities. The breakfast again was excellent great value. The bar was great a great big shout out to the barman , he was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Also having the option to buy in food was a good idea. All in all I would definitely recommend it.

“the minimum of comfort a human needs to live. Alright to just sleep and leave during the day.”
I guess the price-sleeping ratio for a city like Paris was fine. a basic breakfast is offered, a coffee vending machine is available in the lobby (though their definition of cappuccino is a coffee with milk + chocolate aka "chococcino" as we call it, which is weird). The hotel is close to a bus station, located on a hill. so it is either downwards or upwards to walk to reach metro or bus. the metro takes around 10 min to walk to, but from there you can go anywhere. You will need around 30-40 min though to reach anything major with transfers, etc. so the extra travel time daily + not being close to your hotel can be a minus. noise from the street barely audible while windows were closed.
