“A charming house with a garden and a very nice host”
The host was very, very nice. We got a lot of tips about sightseeing in the area and nearby restaurants. We expected to sleep in a room, but we got a whole apartment with two bedrooms and a separate bathroom. At breakfast we felt like kings. The owner personally served us local specialties. The garden was wonderful, quiet and peaceful. At the entrance to the house from the garden side there were white roses, which was very charming. We had a picnic dinner in the garden. It's a pity that we stayed only one day.

This is an excellent place. Beautiful, clean, and run with precision and kindness by the brilliant owner. A really impressive location, and all of the little touches like the cushions, the decor, the attention to detail. Very highly recommended. The breakfast is exceptional - we had two different types of bio yoghurt, blé noir bread, caramel cookies, delicious jams, cheeses, fresh melon.

La Maison Jaune à la Janaie is located in beautiful countryside; wonderfully quiet and relaxing. We attended a wedding at a nearby chateau and La Maison Jaune proved a great location for us. The host, Eric, is very welcoming, warm and genial; nothing was too much trouble. He is a fount of knowledge about the local area and places to visit. Our bedroom was tastefully themed and large, with a very comfortable king-sized bed. Great bathroom and facilities; exceptionally clean and tidy throughout. Breakfasts are continental; fresh fruit, a wonderful choice of fresh breads and pastries (sourced that morning), local cheeses, ham and preserves. La Maison Jaune is a peaceful and relaxing base for exploring this part of Brittany; we hope to return at some point.

“A very pleasant stay and cannot wait to come back.”
The host was very nice and accomodating. If you need anything they are extremely happy to help however possible. They also took the time to get to know you, and made sure you made the best of your stay. The room had a lot of character and everything you'd need and more. The breakfast was beyond expectations. There was also two cats, which was a welcome surprise.
