From the amazing breakfast served on the terrace to the great shower, very effective a/c and great selection of drinks in the minibar it’s an ideal spot to relax and unwind. Peggy very thoughtfully lent us an umbrella for the beach and even did some clothes washing for us.

My stay at Chales Paris exceeded my expectations, which were already high based on the reviews and property description. Entering Chales Paris truly feels like stepping into the jungle, surrounded by lush greenery and the huge stones so characteristic of the Costa Verde. The chalet is spacious, spotlessly clean, and the view is absolutely amazing. The host, Peggy, makes you feel instantly welcome - she is incredibly caring and attentive. Every day she served us a delicious breakfast with fresh juice and her own homemade bread, which was a real highlight. This stay was a true gem.

This was such a magical place to stay! I loved being up in the trees surrounded by birdsong, we were very close to a beautiful quiet beach where we could swim in the sea, and Peggy and David took such amazing care of us.

“A piece of paradise”

A corner of paradise! If someone will ask me where to go in Brazil, this is where I would tell them to go. It is difficult to describe the beauty and serenity of this place. The houses are built from Brazilian wood by David himself, and they are made into cosy cabins with so much charm by Peggy. Staying there felt like being home, we felt so much cared for by Peggy and David. They gave us useful information about things to do and helped us arrange the kayaking and explained how to see the sea turtles. And the breakfast that Peggy made personally was just one of the best! And we are still thinking back to the rescue dogs Skype and Skoll they had adopted, they were the best dogs ever. Also the location of the house was perfect, just a short walk to a small but beautiful beach with a little restaurant. Another beach was just a few minutes walk away with the best food we had in our whole 3 week stay in Brazil. Overall, we were so happy with this stay and hope to come back to this place one day!

Peggy and David are just the most wonderful, kind and generous hosts who go above and beyond to look after you. The beautiful wooden chalets allow you to immerse yourself in nature with hummingbirds sharing our balcony during our scrumptious breakfast which is lovingly prepared by Peggy. It's a short car / taxi ride into Paraty and a 5 minute walk to the beach and beach side restaurants. I cannot recommend Chalés Paris highly enough and only wish we could have stayed longer.

I had a very peaceful stay in this B&B. I loved my little cottage with a beautiful view. There are 2 breakfast options (Brazilian and French), which are delivered to your doorstep. You have all the privacy you need and, at the same time an easy access to all the amenities. The owners can help you out with local tips, attractions, and transportation. Highly recommended! :)

Our stay at Chalés Paris was one of the best we have ever had! The location was amazing, with a romantic view of the ocean, surrounded by nature (monkey and bird spotting from the porch), peace and quiet. Peggy was the most amazing and thoughtful host, she gave us great advice on what to do in the neighborhood and went out of her way to help us with our travels!! And the delicious French breakfast from the treehouse porch with ocean view was the best way to wake up! There are also many fun activities to do, such as kayaking and spotting sea turtles, hikes, great restaurants and visiting the beautiful Paraty. Highly highly recommend Chalés Paris, and many thanks to Peggy!!

“Remarkable hosts in a peaceful paradise”

We loved absolutely everything about this place! Peggy and David are really excellent hosts who welcomed us with open arms. We felt very much at home there. The breakfast was sooo good - we were super impressed with the freshly baked bread and the other homemade things. What a nice touch! The sea views from the chalet are breathtaking and the beach close by (Prainha de Praia Grande) is like a mini paradise. We will definitely be coming back!

Amazing location, the hosts Peggy and David are very welcoming and making you feel at home. breakfast is one of the best I’ve ever had in a B&B, almost all the food is homemade.
