The accomodation was really nice and affordable. I felt so comfortable inside, everything was clean, smelled really good and had everything what I needed. There is also a sharing kitchen where you can make a food. The best accomodation in Brazil so far. The owners of the property are really kind and helpful. I was quiet confused about transportation around Paraty but they helped me. :) I also appreciate that they could speak english so the communication was easy.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Portal do Dragão in Paraty, and it quickly became my favorite place in Brazil. The location is incredible, surrounded by natural beauty and a peaceful river. However, what truly made my stay memorable was the warm welcome from the hosts, Gigio and Marcia. They are excellent people who went above and beyond to make my experience amazing. I will truly miss them. The accommodations were impeccable, with tastefully decorated rooms and a serene atmosphere. Gigio and Marcia's knowledge of Paraty and their passion for the city added an extra layer of enjoyment to my stay. I also had the chance to join them for a delightful churrasco (Brazilian barbecue) they graciously invited us to. It was a fantastic experience, filled with delicious food and great conversations, making me feel like a part of their family. Leaving Portal do Dragão was difficult as I felt like I was leaving family. I highly recommend this hidden gem for an exceptional stay in Paraty.
