We had a fantastic stay at Muyuna Lodge. The location is beautiful and offers a truly authentic Amazon experience surrounded by wildlife and nature. A special thank you to our guide, Nixon, who was knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about the rainforest. His expertise helped us spot a wide variety of animals and made every excursion interesting and enjoyable. The staff was welcoming, the food was very good, and the overall experience was unforgettable. Highly recommended!

“Brilliant adventure”

The location was amazing. Great to have so much wildlife around you. Meandering down the Amazon river each day was so relaxing and peaceful. Loved spotting all the sloths, monkeys and various birds from the boat and also when we did a trail in the jungle. Seeing an ant eater up close climbing a tree was a highlight as well as the pink dolphins. Our guide , Larissa was excellent.

The lodge is incredible, was saw way more animals than expected! Our guide Nixon was absolutely amazing and the activities are well thought out, diverse and fun! The lodge was super comfortable, fruits, coffee, tea and kajaks were always at our disposal. The staff is super attentive, there is even one person in charge for complaints and suggestions and he asked us multiple times if we needed something and how our activities were going.

All the meals were great and authentic to the area,good variety. The four days were all scheduled from morning to night which we loved. So much to experience from nocturnal jungle hikes and going out in the nocturnal hunt canoe ride. Many boat excursions, swam near pink dolphins, caught several piranha fish, saw many species unique to the area. Birdwatching. Took out the kayak and paddle board during our 2 hour afternoon rest. The remote private bungalows were so comfortable and clean. Loved resting in the hammock on our balcony. Guide Mosises spoke English well , very knowledgeable and grew up in the area. Flew to Iquito, had hotel pick up, a van drove part way before loading the boat to go down the Amazon river to our remote lodge 140 km upstream from Iguito. Very easy all inclusive experience.
