“Great Value for a Short Stay in Tahiti”

This accommodation met our expectations perfectly. For a one-night stay, it offered excellent value for money. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They arranged a taxi for our trip back to the airport, and we really appreciated being able to use the shower near the reception after check-out and a full day exploring the city before our flight. The location is great, we had no issues at all, and we would definitely recommend this place to other travelers. The breakfast was simple but sufficient, the jams were delicious, and we especially enjoyed having coffee in the morning.

Our flight had a delay and so we arrived very late before midnight but checking in was no problem. Our bedroom was on the second floor and so it was not easy to bring our big suitcases upstairs. The little room is airconditioned and the mattress was hard enough for us. We sleept well.

It's a great choice for 1-2 night stay in the centre of Papeete, I appreciate that most of the beds have curtains so you can get at least a small sense of privacy. The staff is nice, common areas likewise, I had a job interview (videocall) during my stay and although the wifi signal was weak it was stable for the whole duration (1hour). If you are looking for some exposure to local culture then this place is for you as during my stay majority of my roommates were Polynesian people.

The Mahana is a classic. Stayed there many times. Great staff, great location, what's not to like?

Place close by centre

A very clean and functional budget hostel option. Amazing location in the center of the city. Very friendly and helpful staff. A really good pit stop if your flight is getting in early morning like ours did.
