The location was great, very close to the Paola's main road with good bus connections. The clothes hangers and shelves were very handy - also great to have a desk, or the TV. Great traditional balcony! There was also access to the kitchen upstairs (outside of the apartment), and a washing machine with short cycles (very handy for light packers).

The flat itself is very nice and clean, the location is good, but there were many things that made me not satisfied. Heavy road works under the building and in all the quarter, 6 days from 7 we spent there, strong noise started from 7 in the morning till the evening. Not sleeping but even staying inside the flat was not possible. Because of this road works it was very difficult to find parking close by. The host refused even one night refund as a compensation for this disaster. One day we came in the evening and our food and wine disappeared, we had quite a lot of things in the fridge. They gave us back money but I didn't plan to go out in the evening tired and look for all those things around the island again. I can't understand how the cleaning lady could think that we left if our room was full of our stuff and the kitchen as well, but what is interesting is that the cleaning lady didn't change the dirty kitchen towel, she cleaned only the floor and threw away everything. In the kitchen there is no heater and the owner didn't want to give it, I had to insist, otherwise it would be cold there. The terrace has a barbecue, we wanted to use it, but the gas balloon was empty. Also the table on the terrace was broken, the table and chairs were on the floor messed up, the terrace looked very bad until I put everything in order there. They also left us only 1 toilet paper for 1 week, no soap in the bathroom and only 1 big towel for 2 people and 2 small. The hot water in the shower finishes quickly. It was dark in the kitchen but I brought another lighter from the room and it was ok. The bathroom is very dark as well until we find out after a few days that the mirror has a light that turns on in a magic way. There is no wardrobe but I saw it from the pictures, difficult to manage for a long stay. There were hard stairs to reach the kitchen but I saw it as well when I booked.

I loved the house, it was both comfortable and beautiful and a welcome escape from outside. Also not that far the multiple historic sites. Great roof terrace.

Beautiful apartment with everything you need. Clean and comfortable. Great communication with owner. The bus station is close so you can easily go wherever you want. Everything that can come in handy is at hand: dishes, towels, forks, spoons, all the little things. You have your own rooftop with kitchen which is what makes this apartment special. This is a place we will definitely come back to!

Very good location in a quiet place, close to airport. Bus stop just round the corner, many buses to Valetta. The room is very big, with a good matrace. Kitchen available on site, but we didnt use it as preferred to have meals in the city.
