In general, I was very satisfied with the room. A plus: it had a balcony. Friendly lady at the reception. They also have a large parking lot, so parking on site was easy.

I was 4 hours too early because of problems with our bus. I also send a mail to the reception (they claimed not to have received it, but they answered on my mail with the code to enter the frontdoor and the room). Since I was 4 hours too early, they asked me to pay for a complete extra night. This I found very customer unfriendly. I would have payed some fee, but demanding a complete night, which I didn't use, is not done.

I was there 4 hours the first day, and a whole night the second day. And I had to pay 2 night. I said that this was unfair. The receptionist said it is normal. If you use a room 4 hours, you pay the whole night. I would have agreed with a partial payment, but we never reached that part of the possible solution.

We had two rooms, and second room's carpet was smelling terrible bad.

The location was beautiful, surrounded by plenty of greenery, which made the stay very relaxing. The kitchen was well equipped, making it easy to prepare our own meals. The bathroom was spacious

“Basic hotel for a one-night stopover”

I was looking for a place to stay for one night on my road trip outside the big cities, and Hotel Green Smiltyne met that need well. The room was basic with a private bathroom and balcony. The hotel has its own large parking area. By all accounts, the hotel has probably seen better days, as it was now somewhat of a rundown place. Clean and quiet, but the restaurant, for example, was no longer in operation.

Very friendly receptionists. The room of big size with the balcony. The bed was very confortable. Very good price-service ratio. Free of charge private & monitored parking in front of the hotel.

The door of the room had been kicked in previously and fixed not very reassuringly. Very thin door and walls and the communal microwave in the hallway right outside the room meant there was noise all evening. The balcony was ⅔ occupied by outside AC units and while the AC which was listed in the room description was there, the remote to switch it on was 5€ extra. Pet fee very high for what you get. Cherry on the cake was the russian flag waving above the entrance at night and the fact that it was switched to the Lithuanian flag by the morning. Extremely questionable all around.

Stayed here several times. Each time hostess was really kind and has been waiting for our arrive. Perfect place near our direction.

Very friendly staff, good rooms and nice green area around. They also allow pets, which was important for us as we travelled with dog.

Close to the via Baltica with free parking so easy place to stop for the night en route.
