The hotel is under construction, which was not communicated in advance. For an hour we were on a crowded street with all our luggage outside the locked hotel because the door code we were given was incorrect and the hotel was not answering the phone. We actually thought we had been scammed and were beginning to look for alternative accommodation when the hotel staff finally helped us. We had to walk through a dark construction zone to get to the check-in counter, only to be told we had to walk down the street to get to our actual room. The room itself was dirty with a moldy shower and a dead cockroach in the bathroom.

Warm welcome, nice room, very clean and comfortable. No street noise or bar noise.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the linen clean. There was a safe space to store my bike. Good a/c.

We were quite surprised to find out, only on the day of our arrival, that the property is currently undergoing major renovations — in every sense, it’s an open construction site. Unfortunately, this left us with no real option to cancel within the free cancellation period. While the rooms themselves were clean and functional, getting to them meant walking through an active work zone, which I personally found unsafe, especially considering I was traveling with my elderly parents. For them, the situation was particularly uncomfortable and stressful. I understand that renovation work is sometimes necessary and will ultimately improve the property. However, not informing guests in advance is simply not acceptable. Guests should be given full information ahead of time and the option to choose whether or not they want to stay under such conditions. Transparency is key — and unfortunately, in this case, it was completely lacking.

The shower was good, though water not hot the first night. Very central location. Street noisy but we didn't mind that, as shutters and doors on balcony kept noise out.

Value for money. Comfortable.

The room they showed me to was on the top floor and they had bed bugs DN NOT BOOK THIS PLACE THERE IS A REASON WHY THERE ARE NO REFUNDS WHATSOEVER ITS BECAUSE THEY ARE GROSSLY MISS REPRESENTING THEIRSELVES .Booking . Com should be ashamed of theirselves for allowing this on their platform it is literally a building site with BED BUS STAY AWAY
