This is the perfect place to stay if you want to be close enough yet far enough from the hustle and bustle. It’s super close to the river and lovely walks through the jungle. Alisonn is so accommodating, helpful and genuinely lovely. it feels like a little home and breakfast was absolutely delicious!

This was the most incredible place I have stayed. A true perfect oasis. The French family are lovely. You are in gorgeous jungle, there's a private river, the private terrace was incredible with hammock and views of the mountains. A little slice of heaven, you have to stay here. 20 min walk to the beach. Nice and quiet. Moto taxis. 100% stay here

“Spacious Cabaña-Hostel with many plants for relaxing days in Palomino”

Cool Cabaña-style rooms spread over a spacious property. The hostel is a bit away from the main tourist street in Palomino. So you can relax peacefully in a hammock or on a porch swing between the beautiful plants and trees of the hostel. Alisonn, the owner, deals attentively with her guests and gives a lot of info about what´s there to do in and around Palomino. You can order a gorgeous breakfast from her, best with her husbands fresh french bread. Only a few minutes walking from the hostel you can take a bath in the nearby Rio Palomino.

The host is so lovely and helpful and the hostel is a really nice quiet place to relax. The garden is beautiful and leads to a beautiful place by the river. We really enjoyed our stay!

Sexto Sentido was the most beautiful place to stay for some days of relaxation, tranquility, nature and peace. The accommodation is at the back of the village and is very quiet, with direct access to a quiet beautiful part of the river where you can swim and bird watch. For us, the fact that it was out of the main town was a plus, though you can walk into Palomino very easily. There are lovely places to sit and relax in the accommodation’s garden amongst the beautiful trees and plants. Towels and soap are provided and the rooms are equipped with strong fans and mosquito nets. There is a lovely atmosphere at the accommodation and the family who own it are very helpful and friendly (ask about the walk to see the snowy peaks!). The breakfast is delicious and fresh. We extended our stay from 2 days to 4 days- we had to drag ourselves away before we booked to stay for a month! The value for money is amazing- we couldn’t recommend it enough!

Finally a place where you can do what the night is mainly for: sleep. Great importance is attached to a good night's sleep, but barking dogs from neighbors cannot always be completely avoided. It is a 10 minute walk to the main street. I always managed to get to the beach without a taxi. Owners are friendly and easily accessible

“Beautiful quiet place to enjoy Palomino”

Beautiful and quiet place away from the busy center of Palomino, close to the river where you can swim. Delicious breakfast with fresh French bread and great service from Alisonn, who helped us organize activities and answered any question we had. The kitchen in the apartment had everything we needed to cook meals.

we loved our stay at sexto sentido! after spending 2 nights in the more city centre of palomino, we valued the privacy and serenity this property offered. we enjoyed being able to spend quite mornings drinking coffee and reading in the hammocks while being able to spend the evening in the more bustling palomino centre just a 10-15 min walk away. alisonn was an exceptional host! she consistently went out of her way to make us feel welcomed. en plus - she provided an amazing breakfast (the bread that she makes on site was incredible! i wish we would have more time to try the different offerings of the boulangerie) + i had one of the best sandwiches of my life here for dinner (truly!). accommodations are clean and comfortable + since the property is relatively spread out we appreciated a bit of privacy (esp relative to other places we saw in palomino).

Alisonn was really nice and we've felt very comfortable, moreover she bakes really good and tasty bread, delicious. In the end we stayed one night longer and we've really enjoyed the place and the calmness. The river is really close and it was amazing and very refreshing to cool down there. We also loved the not so central location, away from the main street but yet so close to reach everything easily.

The location is amazing, breakfast was amazing! Everything was amazing! Would highly recommend staying here to anyone!

“Big cabaña, great breakfast”

A nice quiet spot away from the bustle of the main town with easy access to the river. Great homemade breakfasts, smoothies, bread. And easily the best hospitality we’ve had in Colombia - Alison went out of her way to help us with our trip.
