This is a great wee spot. Might not look much from the streets leading up to it and you might be a bit disheartened, but once you get inside the hotel they have done it so well. The garden is such a magical and tranquil place. Get yourself on the hammock above the bar, watch and listen to the animals going from tree to tree. Staff were also super relaxed and friendly.

I think it is good value for the money. Room was clean and there are different places to chill outside (by the pool, hammocks...). Breakfast was basic but good. Location is good, two streets away from the Main Street and all the restaurants.

I loved absolutely everything. The place is stunning. It's obviously been designed by some artistic genius. I can't believe how cheap it is. The staff are so lovely too. I only wish I could have stayed longer.

“A mixed experience”

The pool was very welcome in the heat. Good mosquito nets (very necessary here). Lots of hammocks to relax in. They cleaned our room after just two nights which we appreciated as most places don’t do this. Overall good value for money.

First of all, Shirley, John, Lorena and the team were very welcoming and the service was excellent, and they were very forgiving with my broken Spanish!. The hostel itself is unique, and they have tried to emulate the flora of the Sierra Nevada, and it is obvious to see that there is a vision, and a lot of passion and dedication in to making this hostel like no other. The walls have stunning murals that depict the native Kogi people. The location is a 15 minute walk from the main drag in Palomino which was ideal, away from the busier hostels and bars. The buildings are all traditionally constructed from bamboo. The large private ensuite rooms are really comfortable, and include a hammock which is a really nice touch. I stayed for a week in January and then another 2 nights in February. Great experience!

It would be quiet if the people working there wouldn't play music and drink during the evening/night Alot of plants around, hammocks, reasonable prices at the bar

Shared facilities kept clean, pool and daybed by pool were great to relax in. Staff were awesome, some trippy art on the walls and definitely an alternative vibe and safe space to stay. Hammocks to chill in and some drink options available at the little bar for convenience.

The whole place was great no complaints, we loved the pool and our two rooms and the staff were great
