The location was amazing, great views and in a quiet spot with beautiful surroundings. Could walk down to the bars and restaurants at the bottom of the hill quite easily. It was great to sit and enjoy nature with a drink and bask in the natural ambience of the property. The breakfast was very well done, a lot of hand crafted or artisanal items and you sit in an atrium type of room where you can see a whole raft of birds (kookaburras, lorikeets, cockatoos) feeding outside, was very unique and cool. Also a lot of quirky old school vehicles around the place which lend to the charm.

Idyllic B&B on the North Shores peninsula in the beautiful location at Palm Beach or ‘Palmy’. The hosts provide a warm welcome and can provide a fascinating history of the region. Lovely bedrooms and access to the kitchen and living room. Superb breakfast with the added bonus of the visiting Kookaburras. Great walks around the coast and Pittwayer, good cafes and boats to other localities.

“Amazing stay in the heart of Palm Beach !”

We loved the location , home comforts , hospitality from the hosts Rudi and Avalon , our breakfast was fresh and made from excellent local produce . The highlight was at breakfast sharing the company with the fabulous birds , kookaburras, cockatoos , lorikeets and even a magpie joined in on the fun . The view of the water from our balcony was beautiful ,surrounded by palms and nature. All facilities were stocked with everything you need , from a shower cap to a late night cup of tea and biscuit. Thank you for making our stay in Palm Beach amazing .We will return and btw we made it to the top of the Barrenjoey Lighthouse, the view was incredible and well worth the effort followed by coffee at Joeys and lunch at North Palm Beach Surf Club aka Summer Bay .

You'll enjoy all the amenities of a five-star hotel, including accommodations and a sumptuous breakfast, but you'll also experience an unforgettable encounter: meeting your hosts, characters worthy of a novel. This will allow you to experience truly unique moments. Imagine having breakfast surrounded by dozens of parrots of different species ! You might even have the chance to take a ride in the magnificent bright red Bentley with its owner who houses a collection of vintage cars (all red!) But what truly makes this little secret corner of Palm Beach so charming is the kindness and humor of Rudy and Avalon, an endearing couple you'll find it hard to leave after just a few days…these are people you would have liked to have as long-time friends if you had met earlier.

The hosts Rudi & Avalon where very accommodating lovely home Avalon prepared a exceptional breakfast for us as we had to leave early. Rudi gave us a great tour of his home & a great history lesson, wonderful stay be back next year.

“A piece of paradise”

Experienced hosts Rudi and Avalon have created a wonderful retreat in the most glorious setting. Apart from the lavish accommodation and lovely Breakfast, the star of the stay was the incredible influx of birds visiting for their morning treats. Rudi has fashioned a contraption that allows kookaburras, cockatoos and lorikeets to perch right outside the breakfast room and feast right in front of your eyes. It was a most memorable and extraordinary display. Rudi and Avalon are both very welcoming and hospitable. Unfortunately, we didn’t sleep well, which was why I didn’t give five stars for everything.
