I actually stayed in other hostel - Sunshine. Sunrise was closed for some renovation. As to Sunshine - it's lovely place in quiet neighborhood nearby train station. Room is clean as well as shower and kitchen. Everything was perfect, can recommend it.

They changed our hostel at the last minute and put us in a room without a key to lock it.... avoid them and try something regular

The hostel is in the centre, walking distance from main attraction. The bed was clean, bedsheets too. Storage is available if you bring a lock.

I arrived after a double booking by "Into Palermo" B&B - warning many of these B&Bs in Palermo are not in accordance with law with no staff on premises. I was rescued off the street by a wonderful woman at 2200 at night, having been initially ghosted by the owner of "Into Palermo" who denied the double booking, stated he had no hotels.com account, I was so upset to be left on the streets as a single female so late at night. Anyway was welcomed at 2230 by staff of Sunrise hostel who agreed to accept a late night booking.

The location is good but with poor cleanliness and hospitality. Even they don't respond to call from the gate of the hostel.

“Peasant stay with some problems”
We stayed in a pussycats room, and the room was comfortable. Sure conditioner ok, need lining clean, closet, desk with a chair, individual light for each bed, and a full body mirror. The room was just excellent. The hostel has an elevator which makes easier to go out and return after a city walk.
