We had an amazing stay. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The breakfast was fantastic fresh and high-quality food. We really enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend it.

“Smashing little B&B”

This is. a smashing little B&B with a wonderful host and even more wonderful ladies looking after you for breakfast, which was easily the best we had during our travels. The room was full of character and nice and clean with a little balcony, though ours did not have ensuite (we knew this when booking) You must book breakfast and must try the scrambled eggs which were a delight. We didn't catch the name of the two ladies who look after it but they can cook and bake and serve you with a massive smile and their best English!!! There is also an outdoor area so you can enjoy breakfast outdoors, magical. There is tea and coffee available all day and a super little lounge where you can rest a while. It is also very close to the railway station and very central for seeing the city and had we had ensuite this B&B would have easily scored 9.

Entry through an ancient door on the street into a vaulted hallway and then into the apartment that was marble-lined and opulent. The journey to breakfast was equally impressive as was the breakfast that we had outside in the sunshine.

What an amazing place! We were in one of the modern apartments, with loads of space, well appointed kitchen AND huge private terrace, so we also really appreciated our beautiful older breakfast room and access to the sitting room. The tiles are stunning. Georgia and her team could not do enough to help us get there and relax - delicious home cooked breakfast, fresh orange juice and cake each day from the most friendly cooks. The area is the best for cool bars, eclectic restaurants and we could walk everywhere. Highly recommended.

This is without doubt the most unique and beautiful place I have ever stayed. Stanze al Genio is set within a stunning historic palazzo, with magnificent antique floors and beautifully renovated interiors that feel both atmospheric and elegant. Staying in such a special apartment, with the ceramics museum located in the same building, made the experience even more memorable. The host was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay, always ensuring we had everything we needed. A special mention must go to the breakfast team, who couldn’t have been more thoughtful, welcoming, or attentive — breakfast each morning was a real highlight. The location is excellent: in a great area, very convenient for the train station, and with everything easy to reach on foot. Exploring the city from here was effortless. A truly exceptional B&B in every sense — I couldn’t recommend it highly enough.

Spacious, quire and perfectly equipped appartment. Central location in a wonderful area of Palermo, many bars, coffees, restaurants around, short walk to the dome. Easy street parking for free.around the corner. Simple breakfast included in a wonderful old-style breakfast room.

“A charming and special stay in Palermo”

Our room was beautiful and clean, with its own bathroom, and felt really comfortable and thoughtfully put together. The whole place has such a unique and charming feel, it’s genuinely a special place to stay. If you can, definitely choose a room with a balcony, as the views are lovely and authentic of the Palermo streets, and the terrace is absolutely wonderful to relax on. The breakfast selection was great, and there are also thoughtful touches throughout, like a communal fridge (perfect for storing leftovers), an area to make tea, sweet treats available, and even an ironing board if needed, everything you could think of has been considered. We arrived quite late at night, but Giorgia still came to personally welcome us, show us around, and explain how everything works. She was so warm, kind, and welcoming, which made a huge difference after a long day of travelling. We felt at home here and would absolutely stay again. We really hope to return in the future.

Breakfast was delicious and the apartment was beautiful. It was very easy to get to all the main sights in Palermo from the accommodation. Giorgia was a great host, super welcoming and responding very quickly to any enquiries.

Giorgia was very helpful during our stay, reacted very quick to all our questions. Apartment was comfortable and full equipped. Breakfast was tasty. We appreciated the possibility to leave the luggage after check-out.
