Absolutely stunning apartment. Very tastefully appointed and decorated. It had absolutely everything we needed for our 6 day stay. Pictures online do not do it justice. Great location. Our host, Salvatore was a true gentleman and his attention to detail was a standout. The special treats he provided were much enjoyed and appreciated. He was so helpful and responsive on every level. He even coordinated our transfers for us.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this amazing apartment. Salvatore is an incredible host who has thought of everything to make a stay in Le Rose di Nonna Maria a fantastic experience. We loved listening to some Italian music on the record player, whilst sipping a chilled wine or having coffee and pastries on the terrace. Highly recommended.

We were welcomed by the owner with wonderful Italian tunes, freshly baked local delicacies, suggestons for local restaurants and a warm smile. We did not use the breakfast option as we wanted to start the days early and hence ate at the apartment. The communication with the owner before arrival was quick and efficient. WiFi and air conditioning worked well. The apartment looked exactly as in the pictures, high ceilings, lots of light and was a 15-20 minute walk from the main sights. Several food stores nearby, so we could buy anything we needed. The owner organised a taxi to take us to the airport and we had a very good service. the drives arrived on time with a clean and air conditioned car, was very helpful and friendly. The apartment was quiet and peaceful, so we could relax and enjoy.

Our host provided breakfast vouchers for a local cafe which was a conveniently located (about a 10 minute walk). Coffee and pastries could be ordered.

We could check in much earlier, at 12:30. Arranged taxi on time . The appartment was very comfortable,impressive forniture, many beautiful elements like marble figures, lamps, porcelain, everythings makes the appartment inforgettable. Beautiful apartment, everything was great. Perfect place to stay whilst visiting Palermo with some great recommendations for food from the host. Free breakfast was a nice touch too as were the pastries and Prosecco on arrival.

The host, Salvatore, was delightful. He helped me find an English speaking physiotherapist, recommended an excellent taxi service and happily came over to ‘fix’ the hot water when we turned it off by mistake. The apartment was large and airy and very well presented. It had everything we needed for our stay including a very well equipped kitchen.

Great communication from Salvatore in relation to the accommodation as well as local recommendations. The style and level of facilities were supberb.

The host Salvatore was very professional and met us at the apartment to take us through everything and assist with any questions as well as provide helpful tips on restaurants etc. the apartment is exceptional and a very comfortable place to retreat to after a day out. The additional comforts of fresh pastures fruit and breakfast vouchers was an additional unexpected surprise. A great place central to everywhere in Palermo.

This unit is a top shelf, exceptionally well appointed apartment, great location, 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a complimentary offer of traditional Sicilian sweets to top it off! ! One of the bedrooms is accessed by stairs and this bedroom has the sofa bed. Our host Salvatore was wonderful and we are thankful for all his recommendations. A wonderful way to experience the ambience of a truly beautiful apartment.

The apartment is gracious, light and spacious. Its outstanding feature is the attention given to every detail of comfort and practicality. The furniture, linen, equipment are all of excellent quality, rather than the usual basic “that’ll do”! The charming owner has given thought to every detail and so as guests we felt thoroughly cared for. The building is pleasant, there is a well-kept lift and the location is quiet but just a pleasant walk to the ‘centre storico’. There are bus stops nearby and a train stop Lillo which connects to the airport.

We’ll located to see the sites of Palermo. Clean, tonnes of specs, wonderfully decorated, pleasant staff, easy check in, nice extras to make us feel at home - fruit, pastries, cakes, wine. Really could not ask for anything else.
