Optimal location to visit the old town

Everything, but the noise outside, beacuse of the location near to the daily market.

The location is fabulous, right in the centre of the historic market. It's chaotic and atmospheric. Noisy during the day but quiet at night. My accommodation was just what I had hoped for. Clean, comfortable and a balcony overlooking the market. The host Luigi is charming, friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast provided.

Location, location, location, you have the Capo Mercator (fresh food market)at your door step everyday, within walking distance to main square and shopping and restaurants. Luigi was a great host, made the experience of Palermo, one to remember. If you a driving in Palermo, the car park is only 4 minutes away.

We stayed at Kuro B&B for four nights and we couldn’t fault it. Luigi provides a lovely breakfast comprising croissants, pastries, coffee, fruit and fruit juice. The pistachio cream pastries are delicious! The property is situated in the historic Mercato Del Capo which gives an authentic Sicilian backdrop to the property. Although Kuro is located inside the market which is bustling during the day it is quiet at night and we were never affected by noise. Luigi provided a map of Palermo and pointed out places of interest which was very helpful. Kuro is very clean and the bed is very comfortable, there is another single bed if it is required. I would highly recommend it to the independent traveller who like quirky accommodation. We reached the property by private taxi transfer from Palermo - Falcone Borsellini Airport. The property is not accessible to traffic because of its location in the market although you can be dropped off at the entrance to the market at Carini Gate and it is only a short 2 minute stroll to the property where Luigi will be waiting to welcome you.

The interior design of the room is even more stylish in person. Luigi was a great host, even with the language barrier we were able to communicate everything. The location was also superb roght in the market and close too all the main attractions.
