“Charming b&b in a fabulous central location”

It was a charming b&b very quite yet under the shadow of the Teatro Massimo so couldn't have been more central. Everything was within walking distance. The host Silvia was extremely accomodationg and helpful. Very easy to contact and quick to reply. I was a bit worried about leaving luggage but it was no problem and a transfer to the airport was arranged by her too. A lovely breakfast was provided and and check in and out seamless. Would highly recommend.

The room was beautiful, nicely decorated, modern and very clean. There was always so much light in the room as well. It was cold in Palermo but the rooms were properly heated. The location is also amazing.

This was our second stay at Silvia’s lovely B&B and we were just as enchanted this time as the first. She is the perfect hostess and she takes care of every detail. Her co-worker is also very friendly and helpful. We look forward to our next visit.

The B&B was very centrally located. The host was super welcoming and provided all needed details. The room was spacious and really nice breakfast every morning was provided.

The owner has a very great eye for detail, so the whole Bed and Breakfast is just really beautifully designed. The breakfast is abundant and delicious. Furthermore, the balcony is an amazing add on to observe the city. The B&B is close to most attractions but doesn't feel like it is in the touristy area, which is nice. There was also a small Pizzeria around the Corner (San Agostino or something) that had amazing pizza which I loved :)

“Excellent accommodation in central location”

Sylvia was very friendly and helpful, even ordering a taxi for us. She very kindly gave us early access to our room and offered great recommendations. She also set up WhatsApp with us, so she was available should we need anything. The room itself was very stylish and comfortable; the bathroom was beautiful with stunning sea themed tiles in the shower. Breakfast included homemade marmalade and jam and home made cake. Everything you needed was in the fridge. All in all, a wonderful stay.

We loved staying at il Palchetto! Silvia was a great and really accommodating host and I would most definitely recommend staying here. The room and bathrooms were clean and well kept, within close walking distance to bustling parts of the city, and still quiet for a good nights sleep. Silvia had some great recommendations for places to go, eat, and drink and made our stay in Palermo super easy!

I loved this B&B - perfect location on a quiet street, but only minutes to all the main sights. My room was really stylish and comfortable, and everything was of the highest quality. The pictures don’t really do it justice. Silvia was a wonderful host and very hospitable. Breakfasts were varied and delicious. I appreciated having cooked eggs for a small additional charge. I loved that Silvia really cares about sustainability - chilled filtered water was available in glass bottles and the shower gel and shampoo was in large refillable bottles instead of those little disposable plastic ones that are terrible for the environment. I wish more B&B owners were as environmental minded as Silvia. Amazing value for money.

Silvia has created a wonderful haven right in the heart of the old centre of Palermo. Just moments from busy market alleys yet only a few minutes walk from the best shopping streets. Our room was beautifully decorated and spacious. Very safe and peaceful and a two minute walk from secure paid car parking which Silvia was kind enough to book for us. She was extremely attentive and helpful. Breakfast was great. Roomy shower and strong water pressure.
