Perfect location, very big room, different breakfast every morning

A unique place to stay in Palermo. An ancient house that has been renovated, huge. A real palace. And it has a huge art collection. Ancient walls were left during the renovation, and there is even a glass floor through which you can see ancient parts that have remained as they were. The building is located in the center of the old part of the city, within walking distance of all the attractions. The property owner's children have grown up and left the nest. She created a living apartment for herself, and three other large housing units and there is a huge common space. Breakfast, handmade by the property owner, and served with silverware, with great care. Fruit salad, toast, pastry barrio, buffalo mozzarella cheese, almond pudding, homemade jams, pure Sicilian cuisine. Every day a different menu. There is also a spectacular patio.

It was in central Palermo, only a minute or two from the Main Street and great restaurants. All of Palermo’s great sites within easy reach.

This was an amazing accommodation. Marika is the perfect hostess and we loved everything about our trip. 10/10 recommend! Breakfast was so delicious, something different every day and everything was made fresh by Marika - you can tell cooking is her passion. The room was very clean and comfortable and Marika was very friendly and helpful and gave us a great dinner recommendation. The location is perfect too, just a short walk down an alley and youre on the main drag. Very close to teatro massimo and many other sights. everything in easy walking distance and even the train station was walkable (about 20 min) which was great for a day trip to Cefalu by train. Palermo was a great city, easy day trip to the surrounding sights. Would definitely stay here again.

Very very clean and nice decoration. Excellent breakfast. The lady was taking care of us so well, even helped take our clothes for laundry. She also woke up to send us off at 5.20 am. The car park is secured. Location was perfect, so close and walkable to everything.

Atmosfere Puniche was a beautifully magical and unforgettable place to stay in an ideal location. Marika was wonderful, welcoming and very kind. Atmosfere Puniche was decorated with fascinating works of art and antique furniture. It was a very special and comfortable stay, made more memorable by Marika, her stories about her home and her amazingly generous breakfasts! We could have stayed much longer and really appreciated Marika's attention to detail, warmth and enthusiasm.

Marika was an excellent host, providing a lovely house and amazing breakfast. She arranged a car pick up from the airport which suited me as it was getting late and I was unfamiliar with the city. She was always ready to help out as needed.

Mariangela‘s joy in cooking and her love of Sicilian foods shone through in the delicious breakfasts that we voted the best for this trip, and we have had some excellent ones. The apartment is lovingly and oh so stylishly created. It was a joy to walk through to our rooms. The terrace was lush and green and a delightful location for our breakfast.

The breakfasts were absolutely delicious. The attention to detail from table settings to the food presentation was very professional. Marika prides her self on providing authentic Sicilian cuisine made by her with an explanation of the dishes.The room was very spacious and comfortable. The decor throughout the b and b was unique with many beautiful pieces on display. We enjoyed learning about the history of the building and were privileged to see the ancient Roman wells that had been excavated. Marika was a very gracious host and I would certainly have no hesitation in recommending this b and b

The accommodation is absolutely special. Its atmosphere and location are special. It has its own closed parking, which is a rarity in Palermo. It is in an excellent location, everything important and interesting in Palermo is within a 10-15 minute walk. But the absolute special thing is the owner herself, whose colorful and kind personality permeates the entire property. The breakfast is wonderful, varied and everything has a historical interest.

Beautiful property with fascinating glimpses of its ancient history . Furnished throughout in an entirely unique , eclectic style . What makes the property stand out is the owner , Marika who is passionate about sharing her love and pride in the city of Palermo and the island of Sicily , its history , culture and food . Ah , food - the breakfasts ( different every day) are superb . So , so good . Marika was super accommodating and helpful to us with a much delayed flight in and a very late flight out , advice on places of interest to make the most of our stay and in recommending a local restaurant ( try it , you will not be disappointed ) . Great quiet location in the heart of the old town, within easy walking distance of the Cathedral, markets and other sights. Lovely breakfast and an attentive helpful host. The accomodation is an ensuite room within an enormous apartment located in what looks from the outside like an office building. But inside the apartment is gorgeous.
