“Best place for quite relax in busy”

Really liked the place. House has been fully equipped, all appliances worked fine. House is nicely hidden in a quite corner of quite busy village, with quick access to main beaches. Host was nice and helpful, was always available via messangers.

Excellent apartment in Paleokastritsa. Paleokastritsa is a very touristic place but Matsas House & Studio doesn't give any loud and crowded feeling. The host is super nice and very friendly. Garden is so well maintained. Rooms are very clean.

The location and the studio are wonderful, with a fast access to the main beaches and areas in Paleokastritsa, but also quiet and peaceful regarding the little neighbourhood and the lovely bay. Spiros and Elena have been extremely helpful and friendly hosts!

“Perfect family getaway home in a perfect beach location”

Location is everything! We went with a 2 yr old and 4 yr old and couldn’t have loved it any more. The house is the perfect size for a family, fully equipped kitchen, bath tub, enough towels and blankets and all. The location is a dream. If you’re nervous about the steep driveway leading up to it or the “steep” steps to the beach - just remember we did it with two young kids and it was just fine. The almost private beach access is unreal. Perfect sunset spot. We walked everywhere in town and also most other sightseeing on the island was 30-40min drive away. Just amazing. The owners were incredible. Available always and immediately. They cleaned the place daily even though it’s a house. I can’t recommend it enough :)

One of the best accommodation experiences I had in a while. The place was very clean, had everything you could need (very well equipped kitchen) and was very well thought through. The drying lines, shower outside the house, plenty of parking space were all very useful. Location could not be better, literally next to the beach and at the same time very quiet and private. Well worth the premium over other accommodation choices.

One of the best appartement I ever rent. Everything is nice and cozy. Very close to a beach/shops/restaurants, in a very quiet area with a nice view. The hosts provides really good service. Road for cars is very steep, but I managed to do it with Peugeot 107 many times, you have just use the 1st gear.

Great location and very clean

Rested in this wonderful place in June 2025. We can definitely say that this place can be put 11 out of 10. This is the case when reality has exceeded all expectations. The house has everything, everything, everything you need and even more. The owners were very kind and helpful. And the island of Corfu itself and the surroundings of Palaeokastritsa are simply delightful! In 10 days we visited so many unforgettable beautiful places. Of course, it's very good if you use a car. Thank you for an unforgettable holiday!

“Wonderfool place for staying by the sea.”

Our family had an amazing time at Matsas House&Studio. The house is very cozy, calm, beautiful, well equipped, clean and safe. The hosts are very attentive, welcoming and kind. The clearest sea, cafe, aquarium, restaurants is just in a couple of minutes by foot from the place. The city Paleokastritsa has the truth summer holiday vibe, but not overloaded with tourists. We’ll definitely back next year for a longer time to stay. Highly recommend!

The apartment was incredibly clean—the cleanest we’ve ever stayed in. The host was very kind and even helped tidy the room during the day. The garden was beautiful and well cared for. We also found a shortcut behind the main bus stop that made walking up the hill very easy. The location was perfect—just a short walk to the beach!

We really enjoyed our stay in Matsa's studio. It's a very quiet well equipped spotlessly clean place with a lovely yard with lemon tree. We were even provided with a baby crib and a high chair for our toddler. BBQ facilities are available and are very conveniently setup. Multiple restaurants are within walking distance (however you either need to walk a high rise road or make your way through a beach totally dark at night (flashlights available in the house)), so if you plan to walk to a beach (just a steps away but down the hill) or restaurants you need to be in at least mediocre physical condition. Owners are very friendly and quickly reply to all queries. Cleaning happened every other day. WiFi worked perfectly during our stay.
