Thank you Barbara and family for your kind hospitality. This was one of our favourite holiday stays that we’ve ever had. The apartment is spacious, comfortable and well equipped, but the highlight is the outdoor terrace overlooking the coast which is spectacular. The washing machine was also very useful and features such as these made us feel at home. Easy walking distance to all of the local attractions.

“A very special stay for our family”

The hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for. We have never had some kind and generous hosts! The apartment is impeccably clean and the view is spectacular. The position of the apartment is great with a safe walk to beaches along a footpath. There is a small supermarket at the end of the driveway. Some reviews have said the driveway is hard for a larger car; we managed fine with our SUV with some guidance from the hosts (the driveway is steep and you need to navigate a turn). The beds were really comfortable and kitchen a pleasure to cook in. The hosts provided wonderful reccomedations for places to eat and things to do. I could not recommend this stay more!

We had a fantastic time at Barbara’s House, fantastic property with the most amazing view and we couldn’t have wished for a more lovely host! Would highly recommend.

“Amazing !”

The place is amazing and Barbara and Aris were the nicest host ! Always taking care of us and giving us nice tips. The place has an incredible view and is well equipped. It is easy to discover Corfu from this location. The apartment was pristine clean and we really enjoyed the little complementary basket. We would definitely come back !

“Spacious apartment with a breathtaking view”

Barbara, the owner of the apartment, as well as her husband and daughter, were extremely hospitable and supportive. The apartment is very spacious, and the kitchen well equipped. The owners provided us with water, bred, juice and a bottle of wine. Barbara even prepared a local version of Moussaka for us. Barbara's house is nicely located on the slope over the beautiful Agios Spiridon Bay and boasts a terrace with a fantastic view on the bay. We will certainly return to this apartment if we can visit Corfu again.

So glad we chose this place. The views from the balcony are stunning and it's very peaceful here in the low season. The house comes very well equipped with everything you need. There is also some food, drink and supplies provided including lots of delicious Mandarins straight from the tree. The host and her family are very kind and treated us like family. We highly recommend this place!

Everything. All of it! We would absolutely love to come back. Barbara's house was a dream come true in the perfect location for our little family getaway. She gave amazing recommendations and even stocked the refrigerator with some basics and a basket of clementines from the tree in their front lawn. They brought down some toys for our kids to play in the sand as we went to the beach. It was wonderful meeting Barbara and Aris and thanking them for sharing their space with us. The view from the property is unreal. The kids were thrilled with the cats on the property and the games available to play. We made some really unforgettable family memories. We are so grateful we found it!

This is a stunning property with amazing views in a perfect location. The hosts are a lovely family and they made us feel so welcome. They were kind and generous and nothing was too much trouble for them. We will definitely be back!

Very comfortable and well equipped flat with definitely the best view in the region -it is easy to reach this beauty-on 50 meters over the bay . But I was more impressed by the hostes hospitality. l've been to many hotels and guest houses,but I had never seen and felt such hospitality like Barbara's and her daughter. We've been on touch while we were travelling and received the proper recommendation for our stay and very special birthday of our daughter-beaches, boat tours, restaurants and interesting destinations and views.Each day we received present-fugs,candy kumquat,magnets and even birthday present for our daughter.This place will charm you not only with the best scenery, moreover with the service in complex.

Amazing location, with fantastic view to the bay, immaculately clean, and the nicest hosts ever: Barbara and her family made us feel at home, and showered us with their kindness, and hospitality. Can't recommend this enough!

“Best accommodation in Corfu”

If you are thinking about booking this place, just do it. The accommodation is clean, well equipped and spacious. And the views from the balcony are stunning! Not only is the accommodation incredible, but Barbara and her family are the most generous and kind hosts I have met. Will be recommending this accommodation to all friends and family.

“Astounding views, Wonderful hosts”

The views from the balcony are amazing. The apartment is bright and well furnished including, air-conditioning, a large refrigerator, large Smart TV, washing machine, coffee machine & percolator, toaster. There are insect screens on the windows. The outside deck is large with a solid table and very comfortable chairs. There are also sun-loungers. It's a wonderful spot to enjoy the views and off-season peaceful surroundings. The hosts Barbara and Aris are wonderful and supply lots of goodies to get set up including milk, juice, bread, coffee and tea. They have a small but bountiful garden with many goodies that you can pick depending on the season. It is a short steep drive up to the car parking but doable in a small or medium sized car. Also we were there in November and mainly self-catered. Be aware there is nothing open in the village at this time of year, but a very good little restaurant To Steki in Doukades is 5 kilometres away. A good supermarket is 2 kilometres away and a cafe 3 kilometres.

“BEST STAY EVER! Absolutely unbelievable views!”

Barbara, Helen, and Aristotle were the greatest hosts we could ask for! They allowed us to drop our bags early before check in time, had the fridge stocked with a few little snacks, and even brought us homemade pastries and fresh fruits from their personal garden. The apartment is in an amazing location. There's a grocery store right next door, the beach is less than a few minutes walk, and there are plenty of car rental places, restaurants, tour guides etc. nearby. The apartment itself is spacious and cozy, with a great kitchen and comfy seating areas. The view out the balcony is one of the most beautiful views we've ever seen!

“Auzzies at Barbara's house Corfu”

As a family who have travelled extensively around the world this accommodation on the beautiful island of Corfu is A++. The owner, Barbara and her family have been absolutely fantastic hosts during our stay. The accommodation is of a high standard. It is very clean and comfortable and has an amazing private balcony area with sensational views of Palaiokastritsa Bay. This becomes even more impactful during the morning when you open the bedroom blinds and take in that magical view of the of bay  The house is only a short walk to a selection of small beaches, that are perfect for snorkelling and swimming. Barbara and her family made us feel very welcome and provided us with critical supplies to get our stay off to a flying start. In addition Barbara provided some home cooked Greek goodies, such as freshly baked cheese pastries and traditional family recipe of delicious zucchini slices. The house has the advantage of being centrally located to a good selection of traditional tavernas with great food. Close by is the pool bar of "Vivara" with spectacular views during sunset.  Grabbing a beer or soft drink here at the end of the day, truly gives you that great holiday feel. From the initial booking 10 months ago, the contact a help from Barbara and the family through the booking /  travel arrangements process has been fantastic. Even when we arrived,  Barbara was a great source of local information providing lots of hints and tips. If you are looking for a quite and relaxing break in accommodation of a really high standard. This accommodation is as good as you will find. Thank you for a truly memorable stay in Corfu Barbara, Eleni and the family.

everything was exceptional! the property was so lovely and everything had been though of, and more. The little touches made the stay so memorable, Barbara and her family couldn’t be more accomodating and sweet, we loved getting to know them all. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

The family who own this apartment - Barbara, Ari & Helen -are fabulous. The apartment has everything, their attention to detail and love for the apartment is really clear.
