Starling wifi excellent. Fridge in room a bonus. Bungalows spacious located in beautiful grounds. Owner kindly let us visit monkey enclosures. Very near ArcheologArcheological site and route to waterfalls.

“Good stay but we had high expectations - there were not entirely met”

We liked the rooms, a little bit of jungle atmosphere. The only problem was that I expected a lot of this accommodation when reading reviews about it and the monkey sanctuary . These expectations unfortunately were not met. We saw the owner at check in and once in passing but there was no further contact - and so no more information about what they were doing was given. As said rooms were good though and we still had a good Palenque stay.

“Basic but clean and spacious room”

Basic but clean. (The shower curtain had a bit mold, but I think this will be quickly the case with the humidity) The woman is very friendly and helpful and quick in responding. The ruins are close.

We loved the proximity to the jungle and hearing the howler monkeys, really easy to get to the ruins and catch collectivos to wherever you want to go, great restaurants nearby, the rooms are spotless and Adriana is incredibly helpful and doing amazing work rehabilitating rescued monkeys.

It was away from the hustle and bustle of downtown in the midst of nature. Easy access to the Palenque ruins site by taxi.

Beautiful people who use this amazing property to fund their animal rescue centre which you can visit that is also on the property and that caters mainly for rescued trafficked monkeys.

Very quiet, i like it very much and would return. Away from all the city traffic, comfortable beds, fridge, only 4 rooms well taken care of.

“Nature, comfort, and unforgettable experiences”

Fantastic stay surrounded by nature 🐒🌿 We loved our time at Los Susurros! The location is fantastic, with beautiful green surroundings, and the cabaña was super comfortable and spotless. Adriana and her staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, giving us many useful tips. When we accidentally broke a glass bottle, they immediately helped us and didn’t make any extra charges—such kindness! A real highlight was the monkey rehabilitation center. We received a full tour from the biologist in charge, which was both fascinating and inspiring. Great value for money—we’ll definitely return on our next trip to Mexico!

Everything. The rooms are very big, clean and comfortable, Adriana and her Team are so friendly and helpful, she has a very good monkey project and we love the animals at her accomodation

“Beautiful place”

Great place, we showed up and all had a stomach bug. We were taken care of and even though we had to spend almost 2 days in/close to our room, it was amazing to go watch the monkeys and to be right in the jungle!

The garden is nice. Internet worked well. It was interesting to watch the monkeys that the owner is sheltering in their giant cages. She does a great job taking care of endangered animals.

Property in the jungle, you really feel the nature. Rescued monkeys live in the garden. Host was super friendly. Bed was comfortable but the pillow wasn’t (not for us at least). Perfect for 2-3 nights to visit Palenque.

“A comfortable, unimposing property that offers the essentials.”

Located right in the archaeological zone, it provides easy access to the ruins of Palenque and the town. Adriana, our host, was very responsive to messages and incredibly welcoming on arrival. The jungle location was pretty and listening the sounds of animals and birds at night was a lovely change to urban living. The shower was hot and the pressure strong! The breakfast was prepared with care and the scrambled eggs, some of the best I’ve had. Watching a baby monkey be bottle fed was special.
