“Nice staying time here with super cute cat and great host lady!”

The room is spacious. Big shower cabin. Tidy, clean. There is also washing machine (old style but still works well). Nice view (a bit ocean and mountains). The host is super nice, she came out with her car to show us the way to the house because we lost (actually we forgot what she said before about the wrong way on goole map, so it was our fault). She also left us a gift (olive oil, honey, ouzu i guess?). It’s so kind of her. She also has a super cute and nice cat. She’s a sweet heart, a high light of our time here. We love her a lot.

“Little corner of paradise!”

When we chose this accommodation on Booking we didn't think we would be so surprised! The reality exceeded our expectations! The little house is idyllically located in an olive grove, with the sea visible in the distance, with beautifully manicured palm trees, the village of Palekastro where there are many taverns and minimarkets is a 5-minute drive away. We checked in quickly, following the precise instructions of the host, the welcome gifts were very appreciated, raki, olive oil, honey and delicious cookies. The kitchen was equipped with everything necessary, the bathroom was spacious and with a washing machine very useful for us. The towels were very clean and changed every 3 days together with the bedding. We have to congratulate them that they were changed again on the sixth day even if we vacated the room one day later, such services are rare! The WiFi signal worked very well, the air conditioning as well, even though we used it very little, the house being naturally ventilated with the windows very well positioned for this purpose. At the first towel change, the host also collected our household garbage even though we were doing it ourselves anyway, garbage bins are frequent on the main road or in the village. We also received homemade eggs from the chickens that were present next to us in the evening. The whole Sitia area is beautiful but this cottage alone would make us come back again and again! It has become our Corner of Paradise!

Very welcoming hosts, they also shared their own fresh produce with us. The house is super cozy, clean, and comfortable. Bed was super comfortable, A/C, fridge, all appliances worked well. We loved the insect nets. The town is small and very chill. Everything you need is in 5-10 minutes, nice restaurants, beaches.

“This place is one of the best”

We have been touring around the island of Crete for many years. This place ranks as one of the best. Here you can enjoy the canopy of olive trees, the presence of nature. There are several cats nearby, chickens and turkeys with chicks in the yard. The hosts are really hospitable. As a surprise, we received a large basket of oranges as well as vegetables and eggs, homemade pastries, honey, raki and olive oil. The apartment is clean and everything a traveler needs can be found here. Thank you for this wonderful place. We enjoyed our stay of almost two weeks immensely.

“Beautiful, comfortable and in a great location”

A simply beautiful property with wonderful views. The owners were so friendly and made themselves available but always respected our privacy. A hammock, a swing, a fully equipped kitchen and brilliantly comfortable bed. Palekastro is less than a 20min easy walk if you want to leave the car.
