The location was fine and the views towards Heraclion and the Mediterranean spectacular. Definitely pleased we hired a car as access a little tricky and not possible to walk to shops, restaurants or good beaches. Great location to explore Crete in all directions. The house and facilities were excellent. Maria was an outstanding Hostess always available for our questions together with great advice on what to see and do in the area.

Constant contact with host Maria who was attentive, very helpful and welcomed us with delicious sweets. View was gorgeous. Lovely breeze and private (small) pool. Would suggest you need a car as many little beaches and places to explore if that is what you like to do. Equally, bliss just to stay in an relax.

Beautiful villa and beautiful views, the pictures don’t do it justice!! Our host Maria was extremely attentive: she responded within minutes to every question we had no matter what the time was and her recommendations for food were spot on. We felt very safe with the automatic gate, and the remotely controlled curtain and shutter system was very convenient. The pool was perfect size for two people and the hot tub was in perfect position for the view. It’s also a short walk down the hill to the harbour and lovely local restaurants and a small beach. We’d definitely recommend renting a car.
