“Great Stay at Tamu House in Paje”

The hotel is clean and well decorated. It has a really good location (just in front of the dala dala stop). The rooms are clean and equipped for the weather (fan and AC). Kitchens are available with material to cook, fridges, coffee and tea, a microwave. The beach is 10 minutes away by walk, many stores are closeby to buy food and water, there is also a hotel delivery food option through some contacts directly from the hotel. The owner, Oseea, is a really nice person, he is flexible and arranging and has good intentions. He’s well-traveled and knowledgeable and will advise you on activities and things to do, places to go to and even prices. I really enjoyed meeting him and the other staff members who were both sweet and fun to be around. It is a very good and safe place to stay!

Every thing! The location is close to the main street with all the restraunts and shops...it takes about 4 minutes to walk to the beach! Theres a kitchen, a beautiful garden, the rooms are clean and the bed is comfy! Perfect for the budget traveler and the kitchen is a huge plus! Love it!

Nice hotel with proper beds, aircon and the staff is really kind.

The staff was great and very welcoming. You could call the manager at any time for any Inquiries. Hilda, one of the staff, helped us for instance book a taxi and negotiated a good price back to Stone Town. Nearby where many restaurants to grab breakfast, lunch and dinner. Also the hotel is 10 minutes by foot from the beach!

Lovely place, excellent location with just a short 5 min walk to the beach. Lots of shops nearby and general good location. The place was clean, and comfortable. The garden area is also lovely and handy to have cooking facilities too. The giggling was the amazing staff. Hilda is the best! She couldn’t do enough for us, helping us to out booking taxis & tuktuks, excursions and general advice. She gave us a cooking lesson too which was amazing, we learnt so much about Swahili foods and spices and had such fun- something to remember for life + it was delicious. Highly recommend.

Everything was great, the staff, the owner! They are all very helpful and this is a place where you also can come with kids. Tamu is a place where you can make friends. It is located near restaurants, bars, shops and also near bus station.

“Gorgeous guesthouse close to the beach”

Absolutely recommend this beautiful, peaceful place. The manager Hilda is such a lovely and smart person. She, Osea and the entire staff make sure you feel welcome and have everything you need. Unfortunately I got very sick and they offered to get me anything I needed, medicine, food and let me extend my stay. The rooms are big, there is AC and your own washroom. Also a cute little garden, the possibilities to wash your clothes and a spacious, nice kitchen with a fridge to store and cook your own food. Also a bug table with a view to the village where you can work or have dinner together. Beach is 5min away. Asante sana, thank you so much!

“Enjoyabe Stay at Temu house, Paje”

The location was perfect. It was close to the beach and good restaurants. The staff was amiable and helpful. The room, washroom, and other parts of the apartment were clean. The room had hot water and AC. There is a kitchen area where you can cook your food and a refrigerator.

The location is really great. 5 min to the beach, lots of restaurants around. Staff was nice and price was really good.
