I really liked the breakfast. There was a large selection on the menu and no time restrictions – you could have breakfast or brunch all day long. My room was spacious and cozy. It was nice to have a refrigerator when it was +31 outside, and air conditioning. The hotel has a generator, which is great when the island constantly loses power. The staff were polite and helpful. The hotel's inner courtyard is modest, but it's nice to have it. I felt safe as a solo female traveler.

Amazing breakfast and very friendly staff. The rooms are perfect, the Wi-Fi works well, and the shower is great.

Food was delicious, room is very comfortable and well appointed, fridge and kettle with tea was a nice touch. Bathroom was very good as well. Good value for money

“Zanzibar Paje”

The room was nice and clean, with a comfortable mattress. The toilet was clean and the shower was good. Electricity can sometimes be an issue in Zanzibar, but this property has a generator, which makes it very convenient. The location is excellent—super close to everything you need. There is also a beautiful white sandy beach nearby. Breakfast was another story. I come to Zanzibar often, and this was one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had here. Even if you’re not staying at the property, I highly recommend trying it. If you love coffee, you will not be disappointed—they really take care of the small details. Staff very friendly working hard to ensure customers satisfaction.

Everything, best place to stay at in Paje...amazing food, very safe and cozy.....everyone are so friendly LIKE VERY! Good wifi, perfect coffee and the rooms are very clean and got everything you need! Less than 7 mins to be on the beach...❤️❤️

The breakfast was amazing, we had breakfast included and were having different meals everyday. Very tasty and aesthetically appealing. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Kind people who wanted to help you. The room was also lovely and kept clean. And had everything we needed. They also helped us book excursions for very good prices and with trusted guides.

The place was very clean. My room was a lil slice of heaven from the bed to the shower to the boat closet I loved every bit of decor. The breakfast was simply amazing. I choose something different everyday and the fact that breakfast was available until 3pm made this even better doe lazy mornings. The freshness of the food was amazing. The desserts were really good too. Staff was very friendly and welcoming and happy to assist with any needs I had. I will return again for sure.

The food is very good! Very nice fresh juices, they give delicious fresh fruits for breakfast and also the staff was very kind to us, always ready to help.

Lovely modern and clean room - very nicely decorated. Cafe/restaurant had a nice vibe and excellent selection of food. Sunbeds at the beach was great and run by lovely staff.

The breakfast and food in general was absolutely amazing! Fresh fruit, healthy tasty dishes and great coffee. I tried a new dish every morning and loved them all!! Staff was super friendly and helpful. Ahmed drove us around to our different activities and he was super attentive and always on time. Rooms are great - clean and functional. In spite of the hotel being on the main road, there was no noise in the rooms at all.

I recommend booking with complimentary breakfast, as the breakfast was excellent! Staff were helpful and kind. Also liked the reusable water bottles you borrow, and can fill up whenever you need for free

I really loved everything about Bara Bara Eat&Sleep. The atmosphere was relaxed and calm. The wifi must be good, because I have seen people working there on their laptop everyday. The room was small but nice and tidy. It had a toilet and a shower, AC and fan. During the day you have the café where you can hang out, drink a coffee and watch the streetlife of the main road. The coffee is really good by the way, as is everything that's on the menue. The breakfast was out of this world, I never had anything that compares in a hotel. Thanks to the amazing chef! All the staff from reception to cleaning was super friendly, they also helped me when my phone broke and in general fulfilled all my wishes (like having an earlier breakfast as I had to leave in the morning for a daytrip). They made sure I was welcomed when I arrived later at night as anticipated. So: Asante sana to all the amazing people from BaraBara! I will be back :)

Good size room with very comfy bed. Little fridge was very useful. Close to the beach- 10 min walk plus they have access to the sunbeds on the beach. Amazing food.

There are not enough nice words to describe our love for BaraBara. After feeling underwhelmed by a week in Nungwi, we arrived here and the trip was totally transformed. Starting with our first delicious iced coffee. Then every dish on the wonderful menu. Followed by lazy days at the beach which is just down the road. The rooms are always cool, clean and comfortable and the ladies that cleaned for us are so friendly and kind. The owner and all of the staff are so helpful and friendly and make everybody feel so welcome. Not to mention the cats and the little Monkey who pops in from time to time! The breakfast offering is incredible value for money and there wasn’t anything on the menu that we didn’t enjoy. Especially the delicious pizzas. We will be back next year and thank you all so much ♥️
