Very chill hostel, exactly what you need after a night out in pai

Nice area and cozy atmosphere

It was out of the main town. It only took 15 minutes to walk from the main tourist road to the hostel. It was a good price for a private room for 3 people. There was a yoga room with mats and blocks that you could use outside of yoga classes. The pool while small has clear clean water.

Real chill vibe there, 2 minutes drive outside the town.

The dorm feels a bit outdated, and since the air conditioning wasn’t turned on, the room felt damp. With nighttime temperatures dropping below 10°C and the need to go outside to use the restroom, it became quite uncomfortable. Additionally, the showers weren’t reliably warm, and one barely provided lukewarm water, which left me with a sore throat for days. While I didn’t get the chance to try the restaurant, I noticed it wasn’t always staffed, and there were two mornings when I couldn’t even get a coffee before 9 AM, requiring me to head into town instead. The beds were worn-out, the curtain rails were broken, and there were ants here and there, which could have been avoided with better cleanliness. Overall, the dorm room could use some upgrades to match the charm of the garden. Unfortunately, due to these shortcomings, I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

It was away from the main town so quite quiet and despite being there at new year I was pleasantly surprised at still being able to sleep without any loud party music after 1am. And it's a pretty resort, lots of trees. The staff were kind and the room was kept clean.

I love my stay here, perfect for chill vibes, the food here is exceptional, haven’t had hummus like this in a while, highly recommend if you’re into Middle Eastern food. The hosts are so lovely and the main man looks like Doron from Fauda!!!

BEDBUGS!! don’t stay here. we told the guy working, he already knew and didn’t seem to care. he pretended to be surprised but didn’t even go to check the beds or anything. also when we arrived there were no staff and the guy who eventually arrived acted as if he didn’t really care. room smelled like toilets. i don’t usually leave bad reviews but this wasn’t nice. again, don’t recommend to stay here unless you want a host who is not friendly and some permanent little friends on your body and bags 😃

Comfy beds, lovely gardens and cafe on site - good value. Not the most social place so good for a chill out the city.

The hammocks that were scattered around the garden offered you many places to chill in peace. The staff were very friendly and reasonable. They had a puppy called Berry and she kept us company at the pool😁 The shakshuka was amazing!

Nice dorms mix room, amazing big garden with the beautiful nature. Close to the city but out of noise, really great place to stay. Next time in Pai coming back to Shaya’s resort for sure!
