Overview
Kallaste Holiday Resort is located by the Kloostri River and offers accommodation among green, picturesque forests. Wooden cottages include historical interiors, as well as terraces with barbecue facilities. Buffet breakfast is served in the Kallaste main building dining room with a fireplace. Dishes are prepared with a traditional stove for wood, over real fire. Group catering is available and there also is a spacious, common kitchen for guests’ use, including essential cooking utensils. Guests are welcome to play table tennis or football on the on-site court. The staff is happy to organise various outdoor activities, along with paper chase and ball games. There also is direct access to the beach area and a children playground. The surroundings of the resort offer many hiking and cycling possibilities. Free bicycles are provided and organised tours to the Padise Monastery are also available. The Kallaste is situated 1 km from the Kasepere Village and the Vasalemma Train Station is 10 km away. There is free, private parking.

Our private cottage was perfect, there was even all the kitchen implements to cook for ourselves. The fact that I was also travelling with a cat and it was all perfectly pet friendly and even the cat voted that we should make this into our new permanent home should speak volumes to other animal and nature lovers. Super cozy, very relaxing, and even socially active people can find enjoyment when there’s events happening around the area, we were there the day before and didn’t stay for the concert.

Our stay was really nice and calm. As we were with children it was really nice to see some farm animals around. Also the breakfast ( for extra money) was good and delicious. The location is near the Rummu quarry, so I would recommend this place for those who want to visit this tourist attraction.

“Excellent place for a rustic family stay in beautiful Estonian forest”
Lovely stay in the log cabin. Kitchen and toilet nearby, LOADS for children to do, the playground facilities are really immense and not advertised enough in their listing. There’s something for all ages and even a real bus converted into a Lego heaven for the rainy days. Farm animals, apples to eat from trees, little pond to swim in (for adults). The accommodation is rustic and basic and that should be taken into account, but we had read the listing carefully and were aware. Very helpful host. Excellent stay, we’d highly recommend.
