“Phenomenal!”

Our stay at Casa Mimba was phenomenal! We received a warm welcome and were given a wet towel to refresh ourselves. There was also a welcome drink. Everything was explained clearly. Everyone is so friendly! We had a small problem with the coffee machine, so the host immediately sent a staff member to help. It turned out the coffee machine was simply broken. Otherwise, we had a wonderful time and I highly recommend staying at this villa. You won't regret it.

Wonderful and unique property. Idyllic pool setting. Self contained with staff coming to the property to prepare a simple breakfast. Evening meal is through takeaway delivery from a local restaurant.

Fantastic villa / kind of private hotel with 3 women from the village taking care of house, doing the dishes, pool and garden. Making daily breakfast or (as we skipped breakfast) made lunch. We stayed with 2 people, so got one bedroom. Bloo Lagun beach for snorkling, with a small but fine warung, is on the other side of Padangbai (don't take a boat from the harbour, just walk or drive yourself). Our contact with the host, Emelia was very good, she helped and adviced us with driver/ taxi and the planning of some activities. Also helpfull when we needed a doctor. First we stayed a week. A week later, when our travel plans changed, we just decided to return for some more days. This villa is a good place to find some days rest during / after travelling in busy Bali or Indonesia.

“A birthday to remember!”

Honestly, I couldn't praise this place enough. Was one of the highlights of our holiday! All the staff went the extra effort to ensure I had a memorable birthday, even bring me a birthday cake on the morning. One of the best customer service I have ever experienced. Accomodation was spotless as well and top floor apartment is incredible. Definitely plan on coming back here in the future.

We stayed here one night as we missed the boat to Gili T and it was a lovely addition to our trip. The property is amazing. we stayed as a couple so had one of the rooms unlocked. the room was great. The hosts were so lovely and helped us out a lot. They really went above and beyond.

10/10 accommodation! The house, the garden, the pool cater to every need! The staff is extremely helpful, they arranged everything we asked for (motorbike rental, transfer to Padangbai port, brought coconuts from the local market, etc.). The bedrooms are comfortable, the bathroom is spacious, and there's consistently hot water, which unfortunately is a rarity in various accommodations across Bali! The breakfast was very delicious, we could choose something different every day. It was a perfect choice for a few days of rest on our way to Gili. Thank you for the hospitality, we hope we'll have the opportunity to return! 🙂

A wonderful place to stay, very spacious, much privacy, friendly helpfull staff. The staff will go the extra mile, to arrange everything you want or need. The villa is spotless, comfortable and in total privacy.

“Awesome way to celebrate a special birthday, with special friends. Hosts really made us feel welcome”

The house, pool and garden were spotless. The property is very secure, easy to lock the massive gate and villa doors. We used all (3) bedrooms - everything worked - which wasn't always our experience at other Bali properties this trip. The top suite (a traditional Javanese timber house plonked up there) is a unique and exceptional private space. The villa is little way out of town, but easy to pick up a scooter or taxi - or a 20 minute walk (includes a big hill) . It's down a quiet lane, with a black sand beach 2 minutes walk outside the gate. Not far away (suggest you don't walk there, get a lift...) is the stunning white sand beach - worth a lazy day trip. We woke each morning to roosters crowing, dogs barking, cows bells clanking ! Breakfast was delicious - 2x giggling staff came in to cook - they asked us the day before what time/ what choice ?
