I didn't complain but the bedside bulb was fused and the overhead light flickered. Maybe should be seen to - room 3.

“We had a pleasant stay. The place has a lot of charm, but feels a little run down and tired.”
I enjoyed the spacious bedroom and bathroom. The air conditioning was working well. I suggest that you put an alternative on the bed, such as a cotton blanket in the very hot summer months. Loved the charm of the old manor house, however I think you need to start to freshen up a little. It is in need of new/clean carpets and a fresh layer of paint in the bedroom and bathroom. Loved the gardens, the views and the charm of the place.

“The hotel did not meet my expectations at all”
Exceptional staff. All willing to help. Tendai was good, tried to make our stay comfortable Good size bathroom though the water in the bath was dirty yellow water.

Beautiful building and surroundings. The room was beautiful and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was very spacious with lovely soap and shampoo provided. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Location is perfect to explore Paarl and surrounds. Breakfast was great, too!
