“A beautiful, charming, unique, interesting and cosy chateau all wrapped up in one amazing package.”
What an amazing find! We absolutely loved our stay here and were sad it was only for one night on our journey across France. The room was beautiful, charming, unique and cosy all wrapped up in one. How many people can say they had an arrow slit as a bathroom window and woke up and opened their window to that amazing view? We could not have been welcomed any better and even had a guided tour of additional rooms. The gardens were lovely to walk and explore, as was the area and nearby Tournus. Breakfast on the patio was great, too. We are already thinking about when we can return and bring family members with us. Thank you!

“Beautiful, authentic Chateau.”
This is a beautiful, original chateau that's remained in the same family since the 1600's (part of the original building dates from 1300). Dont go here if you're looking for luxurious splendour, mini bars and pamper days. DO go here if you're looking for French authenticity set in a stunning landscape, peace and tranquility. Its a B&B but there's a fabulous Relais just across the road. The host is a lovely lady who made us so welcome. Breakfast was wonderful and all made / sourced / grown in the surrounding villages. Rooms are very much 'original' with few mod cons by todays standards but in times gone by they would have been considered resplendent. We loved every moment here and enjoyed walking up through the vineyards before we left.

“A unique experience in historic building”
Wonderful 13-16th century chateau in a pretty quiet village. Remarkable and probably unique building these days with many of its original features.- impressive gardens and grounds. Breakfast on the terrace was a treat. Room was large and unique. Welcoming hosts who were kind enough to offer us a small tour of some of the oldest parts of the building- a work of love, being restored and maintained. Very good restaurant few minutes walk. An amazing place to stay

“The Château exceeded our expectations, Christiane was an amazing person to meet.”
The Château d'Ozenay We stayed here in 17th and 18th of May 2025 and enjoyed a wonderful couple of days here. The Château is an exceptionally beautiful building and you can just feel the history in the walls. The grounds are amazing and we really enjoyed exploring them. Christiane was just lovely and a wonderful host. We speak very little French and Christiane speaks little English however, we communicated well though Google translate 🙂 She made us feel very at home, and prepared the best breakfast we had during our time in France! A stay in the Château allows you to experience authentic France, we highly recommend staying here, it honestly exceeded our expectations! Thank you Christiane for making us so welcome and showing us around your beautiful home. Also, please give our thanks to your friend Joel (I hope that's spelt correctly!) It was so lovely to meet you both and we hope to return! Vanessa & David x x x

“In summary, our stay at this historic French castle hotel was simply magical.”
Our pleasure to stay at this charming hotel nestled within an old castle in France. The atmosphere exuded authenticity, with well-preserved interiors, beautiful gardens, and antique furnishings that transported us to another era. The hostess was exceptionally friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to assist us with restaurant reservations and sharing captivating tales of the castle’s history. Our stay was truly unforgettable, offering a unique and historic experience that we highly recommend to all travelers seeking something special.

“If you are looking for a break from the hustle and bustle then this is the place for you!”
Magnificent. I can’t say enough good things about our stay. A French chateau in the heart of Burgundy. The setting is amazing. Beautiful gardens in a serene setting. It was so peaceful. The room was huge and beautifully decorated with lovely stone floor and walls so it kept cool. The owner, Christianne, was a wonderful host. She helped us with a late dinner reservation at the local gastronomique restaurant and she prepared wonderful breakfasts of fresh croissant, baguette, local cheeses, yoghurts and the like. She was also lovely company. We also appreciated that our dog was welcome everywhere. The location too is fabulous. There is so much to do nearby…castles, markets, cathedrals, wine…and incredible food. If you’re exploring the region or passing through on your way south, this is THE place to stay.

Grand medieval chateau in its own park. Huge room with large bed and high ceiling, indeed a suite that could have slept six. Shower and toilet new and very efficient. Pleasant breakfast on the terrace. The owner was helpful, booking restaurants or providing plates, glasses etc so that we could picnic in the grounds. An absolute delightful mixture of the grand and the attractive ramshackle.
