A wonderful old property which has been artistically presented to the market. This was our second visit and this time birds featured as the decor of our room. The ceiling, the walls, doors and surfaces featured bird wall art along with other little bits and pieces relating to birds. So clever, so subtle, so beautiful - a real talent is evident. The apartment is very comfortable with all the necessities for a pleasant stay. Everything our hostess does is of top quality. Our hostess was very attentive and warm - a lovely lady. Although Giancarla speaks no English, her son helped with communicating which made life easy for us. Just a few paces from the accommodation is a fabulous casual restaurant called La Fantina. Don’t hesitate to go; delicious food at very reasonable prices. The streets of old Ovada town are quaint and enjoyable to stroll down. We hope to return at some stage and hopefully experience the third room at this lovely establishment. Thank you Giancarla and thank you also to your sons who have made an amazing contribution to apartments.

This place is very nice: the staff was extremely helpful and even when our son locked us out of the room in the early morning, they reacted immediately to our request for help. The rooms are very clean and located right in the centre of the city. Price - quality is fantastic. Would recommend staying here!

We spent a few dream days in Ovada, an early spring helped us to have an even more pleasant stay, doubled by the warm welcome of the host. Giancarla is a wonderful host who stays by your side regardless of questions, spoils you with goodies at breakfast and with whom you can share impressions about the area at any time.

The location is perfect (with a quick access to the narrow old town streets, but still a hassle free entrance to the car park from the other side of the house). Our host was incredible, although we had a language barrier (we didn't speak Italian) she managed to communicate everything with a translator app. All our questions were answered and we got loads of useful information as well. The rooms had character and the place felt loved. It was really a lovely stay. The breakfast was also exceptional. a special thanks to returning one of our jackets (that we forgot in the room)! would definately recommend this to anyone looking for a special accommodation in the old town, in an old building - with a perfect hostess

Fantastic host/s , Giancarla did everything she could to make us feel welcome,as well as her son. Extremely cozy room.Everything functioned very well, even in a very old house. Great breakfast.

“Perfect accommodation in Ovada”

Oh my word, what a little gem this place is. We originally booked as it was a convenient location en route from Italy to Switzerland, but were really impressed with Ovada and its lovely historic centre. Best of all, however, was staying at La Corte. We received the warmest welcome from Giancarla, who went out of her way to make us feel at home. She is such a star. The room was perfect ...a little quirky and different, and super comfortable and clean, which we loved. Secure off-street parking was a bonus, and the breakfast was superb. We hope to return next year just to stay here again. Highly, highly recommended
