A beautiful welcoming property with a lovely breakfast. The owners allowed us to sit on the side of their garden which made the stay even better.

“a relaxing and beautifully presented period property in a charming location full of character”
Beautifully presented 'Hameau' adjacent to, but independent from, the owners own property. This period property has undergone a sympathetic renovation and conversion into a self contained suite for guests on the upper floor. All furnishings are of the highest quality and textiles and lighting are tastefully matched to give a boutique ambiance while preserving the characterful features and spacious proportions of the property. Sound insulation is good, thanks to double glazed but period style wooden windows. All plumbing is modern and efficient despite the age of the house. Breakfast is served in the room next to the bedroom and is very adequate and beautifully presented. We will definitely be back as Ouville La Riviere is in a very desirable and picturesque part of the region with some stunning coastal views, lovely villages to visit and a warm welcome from all

“Perfection”
Our hosts were truly charming and welcoming. Their period house is situated in a quiet village, and is full of light. Our first floor, private guest rooms had been thoughtfully planned and were decorated with discreet style and taste. The bed was comfortable, and a shower room and separate loo were cleverly incorporated into one of the rooms. In the morning, a tray laid with all the things you would expect for breakfast in France - coffee, croissants, declicious home-made jams, and creamy yoghurts, appeared on the small dining table, allowing us to start the day quietly, We would happily return for a longer stay.
