“Tranquility Inn”

Rooms with powerful fans & delightful cold showers, on grounds with comfy hammocks under the shade of prosperous palm trees. It’s the perfect balance of wild nature and contemporary cleanliness. The half hour walk into the town centre is very easy. Justine’s cooking is unparalleled and Yannick made me feel at home.

I had a great time and Yannick is an exceptional host. He is very helpful and caring. He speaks English too. He organized me a half day trip through the surrounding villages which was very good. The place is a bit outside of town but it looks like a little oasis and has a common space and a communal kitchen you may use. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed staying with Yaya and were quite sad to move on after 3 days. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable, the communal areas (dining area, Kitchen) also clean and we especially enjoyed chatting with Yaya and other guests over dinner and into the evenings. The property is in a quiet location and has lovely gardens. Yaya was able to arrange amazing and reasonably priced tours of local villages, kayaking, pirogue trips etc with no difficulty. A special mention of Pauline the cook who prepared some of the best dinners we had in the whole of our trip to Senegal.

The host is very nice. Highly recommend! I also have a great time in and around the village.

Very friendly and helpful host, awesome breakfast, quiet location with a beautiful garden. A little piece of paradise on earth.
