This beautiful colonial hotel features 2 rooftop pools, one is heated with a tub inside and the other one is with natural water. The rooftop also offers a panoramic view of Nossa Senhora do Rosário Church and Ouro Preto´s mountains beyond. Hotel Solar do Rosário´s accommodation provides fine wooden fittings and furniture. “Perfect Place for a weekend stay”
The location is very close to the old town and easy to walk - make sure to wear comfortable shoes as it is partly very steep. The garden is very beautiful and the inside pool offers enough space to swim some rounds. The restaurant offered very good food

The setting and facilities were charming as were the staff. The hotel was very clean, with great offerings for breakfast as well as if dining or having a cocktail. The staff were very helpful and it was also great to have a valet service for the period we had a car.

The location was excellent; 2 very nice pools--the indoor one was heated and a pleasure. Small, minimalist gym. The hotel is a historic property with beautiful grounds on upper outside level.

A traditional colonial-style hotel with a lovely atmosphere in a great location in downtown Ouro Preto. Excellent indoor pool and hot tub, a well-equipped fitness room with a view and a great small massage studio. The bar at street-level is a great place to sit in the evenings, and the buffet breakfast in the mornings offers a wide selection of regional dishes.

A beautiful hotel with great service throughout the stay, incl. valet parking. Excellent Breakfeast. Really good restaurant for dinner as well. The wife tried the newly started Spa service and enjoyed it alot. Worth a stay for sure.

Beautiful old historic building. Great breakfast, cooked over open flame. Good restaurant at the hotel. One of our rooms was spacious, and fit well for our family. Close to city centre with restaurants.
