Very atmospheric place!

“A nice casa simple and good for young people”

The Casa do chá does not offer tea for breakfast. The room was looking out on the street and during carnaval the music does not stop until 1 am. The show is functionally ok but ǐ is somewhat complicated to find out how it works.

“Lovely room, very comfortable, everything provided, would recommend!”

I loved the private patio with the room and the bathroom too was one of the prettiest I’ve been in. I also loved that there was a lamp, not just the main light and a v easy to use ceiling fan. It was lovely to have afternoon tea available. I have stayed in Ouro Preto many times, so I knew the location well. It was nice and quiet at night.

Lucas was very helpful. I arrived before the check in time and he had his lovely wife open the door for me. He even sent a taxi to pick me up from the station. I loved the property, My room was great. The breakfast is abundant and Luiza the manager very nice and friendly. I highly recommend Casa do Cha.

“Charming pousada with excellent location, that could improve on room comfort”

Excellent location with the extra bonus of a very nice view if you have a room on the street side. The interior is nicely organised and furnished, the rooms ample. Staff has been nice and helpful. Snack is offered in the afternoon time with tea and cake.

Absolutely beautiful property, fantastic location and the staff were incredibly helpful, so much so the owner of the property drove me 3 hours to my next destination. The view from my room was stunning. It feels like a home away from home, is spotlessly clean and the decor just gorgeous. Highly recommended.

Good location, in historic center and with nice view. The staff was very helpful (they also managed a curency exchange for us). We liked the possibily to make a wide variety of tea during the day for free (also a selection of cakes with it).

Very nice room, very good atmosphere. Coffee,tea,cakes are free the whole day. Very good breakfast. Stuff is very kind and helpful. There was no option for laundry, at the timd we have been there, so the young lady , who run the place took our laundry and made it herself at home. You really feel there like at home. One of the best places,maybe the best,we had during our trip to Brazil.

We loved everything about the hotel - the staff was super friendly, the owner, Paulo, was very accommodating, and the place was lovely. We will be staying there again!
