Location is amazing, 5 minutes from the terry terminal, 1 minute from the beach, 2 minutes to exceptional restaurants and 3 minutes to the shops!

The apartment was clean, spacious and comfortable, with everything we needed for our stay. It's very close to the ferry port, which was ideal for us for our early morning ferry. Lovely having the balcony. Brilliant kitchen, very comfortable beds and wonderful shower. Excellent communication with the owner. Would highly recommend.

The location is fantastic. Great terrace, large windows surfaces, great views towards the Atlantic ocean and coast of Ouistreham. The owner is computer literate and inventive - the initial email provides all necessary information in a practical style. The appartment is completely endowed - dishwasher, laundry machine, kettle, microwave, oven, etc. Plenty of dishes, glasses, mugs, etc. It is a home, not a cold impersonal appartment for rent. By the instructions left in the house, the owner is in direct contact with the guests. TV in each room. Streaming. Beds, linen, heavenly.

Property was very convenient to restaurants and shops. Vincent was the most considerate host and made sure we had everything we needed including lots of useful information on local attractions.

Style, location and tidiness

The apartment is literally a stone's throw from the Caen-Ouistreham ferry terminal, situated off the road which runs behind the beachfront. It had a dedicated car-park space, and inside, all the amenities you could need for a self-catering break. It's location is excellent for family beach breaks and D-Day exploration, being within easy car journeys of historic medieval Bayeux, busy Caen, and the seafront towns that run the length of the Normandy and Calvados coast. Host, Vincent, was excellent, communicative, and attentive, and was able to offer some much appreciated flexibility with arrival and checking-out times. I cannot recommend more highly how much a good base this place makes, allowing you to relax after busy days. Although in Ouistreham, and near the front, it was very quiet and peaceful as well, so a good night's sleep is guaranteed.
