Located with the backdrop of the Swartberg Mountains, Oude Meul is en route to the Cango Caves. The property features 2 pools among extensive native gardens. Apartments at De Oude Meul Country Lodge & Restaurant open on to furnished verandas overlooking the natural surroundings. They are all air conditioned, provide free Wi-Fi access and private entrance. We had an amazing stay at De Oude Meul Country Lodge & Restaurant. We especially loved the bunnies, which added such a charming touch to the experience. The room was excellent and the beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night’s rest. Breakfast was a real feast, and we left feeling well rested and ready for the next day’s travels. The breakfast was exceptionally good. A buffet breakfast with a wide range of items - fruit juice, fruit, yoghurt, cereal and cooked items. Nice real coffee. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The environment and ambience were outstanding- so beautiful and relaxing. Very highly recommended

“A very close to perfect stay!”
We had a lovely time. The property/grounds is huge, and we had a great time exploring the farm. The buffet breakfast was amazing as well. Renier was super friendly and helpful. It was so nice having and aircon in both bedrooms.

“Short stay in a great location”
Beautiful location, very peaceful. Lots of animals on the farm, rabbits, ostriches, ponies, wild animals. Our kids loved the farm. Very good dinner at the restaurant, many different local specialities and there was a variety for breakfast as well.
