The location to the hospital was perfect. So close to restaurants. Super clean and well maintained. Super kind hosts that were very helpful. Cost was very affordable.

The host was prompt with the replies and very helpful. Check in instructions were very clear with photos. Key was in a lock box. Entrance to the basement was at the back of the house with several steps and stairs. So it's not good if you have accessibility issues. It was fine for our family though. We actually checked in pretty late since we decided to have dinner first but we felt safe in the neighborhood even after dark. Check out was just as simple. We just placed the key back in the lock box. We are a family of 4. My husband and teenage son slept in the single beds inside the bedroom and my daughter and I shared the sofa bed which is in the TV room. Their kitchenette has a full fridge, microwave and kettle. The workspace was a large desk in a bright room with a comfortable chair that I could do work. My children loved that they had a big TV screen with guest access to Netflix and Disney Plus. In the bathroom they provided towels, shampoo/conditioner, soap. Everything was very clean. They even had had house slippers that you could wear. I was originally afraid that a basement apartment would be really cold and asked the host about it. The host ensured that it would be warm and likely turned up the heat for me. I was not cold at all which I am most grateful for. But there were also plenty of extra blankets if I needed more layers. We booked the place because it was much more affordable than the local/nearby hotels. And it looked much more decent that the motels in the area. We needed a place to stay because we were doing campus tours. The location was not far from Carleton and Ottawa University.
