The place was very clean. The upper level has been totally renovated with new furniture, new blinds, new flooring, new refrigerator in the room, etc. Very, very hospitable, friendly, professional, and to-the-point host A very clean and organized kitchen too. If one wanted a hot meal, one could order it freshly homemade. When I read the 2/10 reviews, I was a little apprehensive. I took my own bedsheets and towels. I was truly embarrassed. I did not need to use my linen at all. The location was perfect for me: A few minutes walk from where the rest of the family was staying in Ottawa. The flower baskets and landscape around the home were very beautiful

The owner and staff are very accommodating. The customer service is really good, and it definitely helped my stay while in Ottawa. The location is very close to the airport and is great if you just need a place to sleep and lay your head at night while in Ottawa.

“Excellent accommodations at an excellent price exactly where it was needed”
I did not use the menu due to time constraints. Everything on the menu looked excellent, however I noticed that the items on the menu being more what I would list as lunch or supper which might be inconvenient for anyone with a more sensitive stomach. A breakfast wrap with scrambled eggs would be very appreciated. The lights on the patio also made it much easier to find the property at night which is when I arrived.

“The stay was lovely!”
The host is just the nicest person, a very talented guy who showed us his musical and calligraphy skills. He even invited us to have a free breakfast in the morning, which was very nice. Thank you, Mushfiq! The room was very pleasant, with a comfortable bed and pillows. The bathroom was nice too. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and the host's hospitality really made our stay special.

Probably the most comfortable bed i've ever slept in...and i have a gorgeous king-sized at home, and this double bed was mega comfortable.

“There's an 11PM curfew on Friday nights which Mac Daddy doesn't tell you until you've already paid.”
The guy hosting the stay big old Mac Daddy was a cool guy, it's a shame there's no air conditioning in the rooms and our shower looked like something from a third world country.

“Overall satisfied with my stay. Owner drove me to the airport at 03:45 AM for a $20 fee.”
They did not have TV channels. You are required to login to your Youtube, Prime or any other account you may have. Breakfast was not being served although this would not have applied to me because I left at 03:45 AM.

“MAC B&B Canceled The Reservation Upon Our Arrival At The Door”
We booked two nights of lodging. Upon arrival at the door to the property, the property's representative advised "We don't have a room for you." The property manager should have canceled the reservation via Booking.com (prior to our arrival) and refunded the VISA transaction - neither was done. We've created a VISA credit card dispute to get a refund.

The owner greeted us at night for a late arrival and was super friendly. He took the time to write our names on paper he kept in the front desk in both his language and in calligraphy. He has a band that plays all over canada 🇨🇦. Very interesting man. Beds were comfortable. Great stay
