“Good value for money and in a good location”

The apartment is in a period building and decorated with some modern features, and keeping some of the period fittings. Really liked the set up. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are spacious. Excellent having free parking included across the road. The apartment is within walking distance to the main tourist areas. The apartment we had was on the 3rd floor so nice and quiet with a lovely terrace outside (real suntrap) Helene's information provided was very good and was responsive to any questions. Nice touch to have some complementary tea and some condiments available. Plenty of towels and a nicely newly refreshed bathroom.

I loved the old character, the balcony off the kitchen. I appreciated that there was AC provided in the rooms. I liked how kind and patient the family was.

Very cozy accommodation with an excellent location and parking conveniently located opposite the windows. The house has everything for comfort, similar to that of a good hotel. Attention to detail is evident throughout.

“Wonderful overnight stay”

The place was super clean. The access was easy and the apartment was super close to lots of restaurants and our show venue. Easy to get the buses from nearby. The hosts even put out a few packets of oatmeal for us to use in the morning. Towels were placed in each room, extra blankets were available in a storage closet.

Spacious, quiet, had all the essentials! Free parking was great, perfect walking distance to downtown and good food. Very comfy bed.

Our 2-bedroom apartment was exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated. It was in the heart of Ottawa and an easy walk to all attractions and amenities. Our host was extremely friendly and provided personal attention. The apartment provided everything we needed and more! I can't wait to stay there again! Thanks so much Helen!

“Cosy, Homely Apartment in the Perfect Location”

Our Host provided everything we could need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The codes for the Key Lock Box and all other instructions we needed for our stay were provided the day prior and were super clear and thorough. Heating was on when we arrived and the apartment remained at a comfortable even temperature without any adjustments needed. Helen (our Host) was easy to contact when we had questions and was friendly and attentive. It was great to have so much space in an apartment at such a reasonable cost, so close to all the tourist attractions. The kitchen was well equipped, it was homely having a dining table in it's own room for meals, and the lounge room more than accommodated 3 adults with a couch and chair. Having Netflix provided was a bonus and appreciated when it was freezing at night and too cold to go out. An old apartment block with lots of history and charm, it has been tastefully renovated in the bathroom and kitchen whilst still leaving some rustic charm. The stairs to the 3rd floor were a bit challenging with the luggage but it certainly wasn't a major negative. Location was perfect for an international visitor wanting to explore Ottawa on foot. It was central for visiting many tourist areas in all directions. Also close to supermarkets for supplies and restaurants and eateries were in abundance, particularly only a block away on Elgin Street. Would definitely stay here again if in town and recommend to anyone looking to visit Ottawa.

Great location within easy walking distance of Bank St and it's restaurants + parliament hill. The apartment was very clean, comfortable and having towels supplied was great. It was also surprisingly quiet at night given its location close to some fairly busy streets.

Good location, 20 min to the center by foot. A parking spot is available. Appartment was clean and the instructions were clear. Thank you for hosting us.
